My 2 week group trip through Vietnam was nothing short of life changing. What started as an adventure with strangers quickly turned into a journey filled with friendships, laughter, and unforgettable experiences. From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the serene mountains of Sapa, every single day was packed with incredible activities and meaningful moments that will stay with me forever.
It’s amazing how 2 weeks can transform a group of complete strangers into a tight-knit family. We bonded over shared experiences, late-night conversations, and laughter that echoed through every city we visited. Whether we were learning to cook traditional Vietnamese dishes in Sapa or hiking through the misty mountains of Sapa, every moment felt special because we experienced it together.
But none of this would have been possible without Chris. From the moment we met him, it was clear we were in the hands of someone truly passionate about Vietnam. His enthusiasm was contagious, and his knowledge of the country—its history, culture, and local traditions—added so much depth to our experience. He didn’t just show us the typical tourist spots; he led us through hidden gems that most travelers never get to see.
The activities were absolutely amazing. The cooking class in Sapa complete with the best view was a highlight—learning how to make fresh spring rolls and other local dishes from local chefs, followed by a delicious meal that we all shared together, felt so authentic. But the real adventure came in Sapa. Trekking through the terraced rice fields with the mist rolling in, we were surrounded by breathtaking views that seemed straight out of a postcard.
Throughout the trip, Chris was more than just a leader—he became a friend to each of us. His sense of humor, care, and genuine passion for his country made every experience more meaningful. Whether it was cracking jokes during long bus rides or patiently helping us navigate new environments, he made sure we felt supported and safe at every step of the way.
By the time we reached our final destination, it was hard to believe that only two weeks had passed. What started as a group of strangers became a circle of friends with memories we’ll cherish forever. The friendships I made on this trip, along with the activities and experiences that were curated so thoughtfully, made this Vietnam adventure one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Jackie was an excellent leader. Organised, very knowledgeable, and catered for all the needs of the group.
Tour itinerary was excellent, got to experience a lot in a short amount of time. Highlights were Hoi An and the homestay in the Mekong Delta.
Transport, bus drivers and extra tour guides were all brilliant. I enjoyed that we had the odd free day or half day to either explore individually or just take some time out.
This trip is definitely great value for money. The accommodation was all much better than I expected, nice comfortable air conditioned rooms. And great breakfasts!

I would definitely recommend this tour, greatly enhanced by our excellent tour guide, Hung, who was incredibly helpful, patient and enthusiastic as well as very informative. Our various local guides were also all very good. There was a good mixture of rural and city walks (without too much time spent in a bus) which included seeing local crafts and industry plus sights of historical interest.
The highlights for me were the two day long hikes, one in Py Long Nature Reserve and the other in the hills leading to the Cham temples. Also, staying at the retreat in Py Long, plus the homestay in the Mekong delta were a real chance to see local life. Other walks involving walking from village to village, were also very interesting.
My only criticisms would be that, as this was advertised as a walking holiday, it would have been good to have has more countryside hikes, and had less time in cities, particularly Hanoi and Hoi An, both of which were very busy and touristy.

An excellent fortnight exploring Vietnam by foot and bike.
The cycling was relatively easy and relaxed (even the chaotic bits in the cities) and Binh our guide was very safety aware and led our routes well taking time to stop and explain the views and attractions along the way.
The hotels were mostly good (one was a bit lower standard but even that was fine) and the food available varied and tasty.
The itinerary was varied and covered all the key features and was flexible enough to accommodate the wishes of the group.
The included food lunches or dinners were all excellent.
We did the optional extras and the cookery class in Han Oi was superb.
We had 2 weeks of splendid weather - one day of rain which meant that the itinerary that day was changed to a walk from a ride - we would have preferred to have cycled but safety awareness prevented this.
Some small tweaks to the itinerary could improve things for us but overall the itinerary was both well planned and varied.
We were a small group and we had an excellent time with our fellow travellers and Binh.
