Starting with the background of the Civil Rights movement and visiting iconic sites such as the bridge at Selma and the museums in Atlanta and Birmingham, we followed the development of the Blues from New Orleans through Clarksdale, Memphis and finally Nashville. We experienced a wide range of live music - gospel, blues, jazz, country, rockabilly, bluegrass etc and saw the places where it all began. The itinerary was excellent. Timing at each island was just right. The Twin Fin hotel on Oahu was a bit dated but clean and good location. Our tour director was outstanding. He was knowledgeable about each island, provided a daily handout detailing timeline and suggestions on clothing for the excursions.

The representatives at the sites we saw/toured were very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and share history and processes. When we didnt have a special speaker the tour guide was able to share so much history and interesting ffacts about the islands. The time seem to go too fast some times it was so interesting.
