The guides were true professionals, always making sure we were safe and motivated. The porters worked tirelessly and always had a smile, and the cook prepared hot, tasty meals even at high altitudes. The tents were clean and comfortable, and the equipment was high quality. Communication from the office was clear and responsive before, during, and after the trek. I reached Uhuru Peak safely and happily thanks to this amazing team. Five stars all the way!
My husband and I decided to climb Kilimanjaro as part of our honeymoon trip to Tanzania. Our tour operator was absolutely brilliant from the word go! Our team, and especially our guides, Rashid and Osmani, went above and beyond to help us reach the summit. They were so friendly, professional and every detail was taken care of - including providing hot water bottles for our sleeping bags in the cold nights. Our guides were only too happy to show us extra insight about the mountain, as well as teaching us some Swahili! We couldn't have made it to the summit without their help and support. All 7 members of the team (porters,chef, waiter, guides) were keen to meet us and even performed a song for us, which was really moving. Although we spent less time with the porters and chef team, when we did see them they were always smiling and keen to talk to us, and did all their tasks with enthusiasm. The level of customer service we experienced was outstanding and we cant think of anything that could have been improved. We will have amazing memories of this trip, thank you so much!! Hotel was quirky but very good. Exceptionally clean, friendly and helpful staff, excellent food. The apps provided were extremely detailed and helpful and there was no chance of getting lost. Basing our stay in one location and giving us the flexibility to easily modify our plans worked really well for us.

I believe this is thanks to the guide’s 5 years of experience and giving us the best advice to make it safely and happily to base camp. The best accommodations and looked after me when I wasn’t feeling well from altitude the night before base camp. I worried about the weather to get out of Lukla and the guide eased our minds that we would be taken care of if other arrangements needed to be made to get home safely.
I did Lemosho route this June 2015 with ANAPA Travel. I warmly recommend this local agency: the trip was adjusted to my personal needs (regarding budget and paying, dates of the trip etc.) due to the very friendly and service oriented tour operator Tumaini. I also had a great guide (ask for Marwa) and team on the mountain. There was nothing I could complain about. I planned the tour via internet in advance - very reliable.
I had a fantastic trekking trip to the Island Peak, organized by the local operator. The hotels were good and the guide became a close friend of mine. Additionally they were able to change the date of the flight-out of Lukla without any problems. If I ever will do another trekkingtour in Nepal I definitly go back to ACH and I just can recommand to everbody else to do the same!!
