The tour was amazing, met some stand out people and saw so much in such a short space of time! It gave a really good overview of the east coast whilst doing fun activities and educating us about the native people of the lands along the way! Me and my sister traveled to Australia togrther. We had been talking about going to Australia for years, and when we finally found this tour, it felt like the perfect fit. It had all the major places we wanted to see Sydney, Cairns, the Great Barrier Reef.
Sydney was amazing. We loved walking around Circular Quay, seeing the Opera House and taking the ferry to Manly Beach. The harbor views are something else.
What we really liked was that the group was small. It made everything easier and more relaxed. We ended up making a few friends from Canada and we still keep in touch on WhatsApp. The guide was friendly and gave us just the right amount of information without overloading us.
The hotels were comfortable and in good locations.
For the price, I think it was really worth it. You get so much in one trip and don’t have to worry about the logistics.

Our itinerary was one that fluctuated due to changing venues and plan of schedules. did a good job trying to get us the best experiences though. I only had one concern that put a small damper on my trip. Trafalgar won’t let you gain access to excursions until we are in the country. This time several of the items were full and I was unable to go. It just seems to me if you publish an excursion as an option then it should be available. kept saying, •its Easter break”. Well the holiday didn’t change so if Trafalgar and its travel guides anticipate a problem on holiday weekend then don’t use that time line to plan a trip of a lifetime. This is also the first time the travel director didn’t attend all excursions. She stayed back at the hotel a few times and left us with the driver. Overall, I had a great time and met some wonderful people. I have used Trafalgar three times and will continue to do so.
