This trip was incredible! The activities available ranged from climbing red sand dunes and star gazing in the desert, to getting up close to giraffes, zebras, and lions on safari and kayaking with seals jumping up onto the boat. Our guide Often did an amazing job of showing us the highlights of Namibia. Long stretches on the road but the view of the beautiful and changing landscape along the way made it all so worth it! Would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to explore the path less travelled and immerse themselves into Namibian culture.

Our guide Anthea was excellent. After a driving tour through the downtown sites and a stop at the park near Parliament, we went to Table Mountain where the clouds had cleared and views we beautiful. The Groot Constantia winery lunch & wine tasting were fantastic, and our walking tour through Kirstenbosch Garden & the Tree Canopy memorable.

An Inyanga or a Sangoma is a traditional medicine practitioner or shaman of the Zulu people in South Africa. A Sangoma / Inyanga can communicate with your ancestors, work with plant medicine (herbalism) and use the power of prayer for healing. While most practice all three, you will find others that work solely with one or any combination of these methods. Their training varies depending on family lineage and land location. However, what they all have in common is a calling to serve their families, their communities and the Earth.
The Inyanga / Sangoma stays in the picturesque area of Molweni. There you will have the opportunity to consult with the local Inyanga / Sangoma and have a traditional Zulu experience. The consultation lasts about 45 minutes where he will use traditional methods like throwing the bones to connect with your ancestors and convey the information he receives.
The tour also travels to the Valley of 1000 Hills. Home of PheZulu Cultural and Safari Park. Visitors are taken into traditional beehive shaped thatched huts, where the various artefacts, beliefs and rituals of the Zulu people are explained, giving visitors an insight into the fascinating Zulu culture. After lunch, you will continue with your safari before leaving the park on route to Emdoneni Wild Cat Sanctuary. Emdoneni Cat Project offers a guided tour of South Africa's endangered wild cat species. The aim of the Emdoneni Cat Project is to care for cheetahs, serval cats, African wildcats and caracal (lynx), which have been orphaned or injured in the wild and need care and rehabilitation.
