    This is an excellent itinerary for first-time travelers to Vietnam. Initially, I assumed that the itinerary was too tight and that we would not have enough time to adequately explore all of the locations we visited, but this was not the case. We were overjoyed and pleased with everything we saw, ate, drunk, and relaxed while on this trip:) Sapa was especially peaceful. Hoi An was highly suggested as a place to stay as well as a city to buy souvenirs and eat/drink.

His stories brought the landmarks to life, and his warmth made us feel like we had a local friend. Hanoi's Old Quarter was a delightful surprise, especially the markets and the Water Puppet Show.     This trip was honestly everything we hoped for and more. Every place we visited felt special in its own way, and the whole itinerary just flowed so smoothly. We got to see the famous sights, but also had moments that felt really personal—like sitting with Mr. Duoc in Ba Vi, hearing his stories from the war. It was something we’ll never forget. Mrs. Chin's cooking class in her garden kitchen was another favorite—she made us feel so welcome, and the food was amazing. We also found some great little restaurants along the way (shoutout to the grilled eggplant in Hoi An—wow). Thank you, Ellie, for planning everything so perfectly. You really took the stress out of it and helped make this such a memorable trip. We already miss Vietnam… and we’re already talking about coming back.
