This 15-day trip in Vietnam is surprisingly good! Even though I did a lot of research and watched a ton of videos about the places we were going to visit, Vietnam is still breathtakingly stunning. I really love Hoi An and its charming vibe. I would love to come back and see more of Vietnam. Besides that, I can't thank the team enough for arranging this tour – it was perfect. We continue upriver to jungle camps, swim in waterfalls and walk trails few others will ever access.
Next, we fly to Mulu National Park - home to one of the world’s largest cave systems and the dramatic limestone Pinnacles of Gunung Api. Trekking through pristine rainforest, we climb to a viewpoint overlooking these 45-metre (148-foot) high stone spires, rising sharply from the jungle below.
In Sabah, we ascend Mount Kinabalu (4095m/13,435ft), Borneo’s highest peak, trekking through ever-changing ecological zones — from lowland forest to alpine scrub - to witness sunrise above the clouds.
