We had awesome trek to see Gurung community with the help of Sujan and the local operator. We managed historic hill trek to Siklis still retains an aura of old times. Historically, Siklis is renowned as one of the major origin places of Gurung Community. Here, we find the various ritual practices of Gurungs especially the works of Jhankri (shaman) and Lama (priest), who have important roles in marriage, death and day-to-day lives. Traditional technologies like alcohol fermentation, weaving clothes and sacks from the wild nettle, weaving various bamboo products, traditional water mills and stone grinders, wooden threshers etc are also the important features of Siklis. In this region we spot Nepals birds of prey including the 9ft wingspan Lammergeyer. The region is rich in flora and fauna particularly birds and butterfly because of its pristine forested surroundings and the great mountain views add an excitement. The experience was just awesome. The Everest Base Camp Trek, which served as a warm-up before climbing Lobuche East Peak, was an exciting and fulfilling experience in itself. The trek allowed us to gradually acclimatize to the altitude and enjoy stunning landscapes along the way. The climb to Kala Patthar provided a unique perspective, as we descended into the valley from EBC, further aiding our acclimatization process while marveling at the breathtaking scenery.
However, it was the climb to Lobuche East Peak that truly tested our limits. The steepness of the peak presented a challenge, but thanks to the expertise of our climbing guide, who skillfully fixed ropes and offered guidance, we were able to conquer it without too much difficulty. The sense of achievement upon reaching the top was immeasurable and made all the hard work worthwhile.

In November 2023 me and my friend embarked on a bucket list adventure. We booked a private tour for the drive in and out EBC via Gokyo Ri trip. Right from the get go everything was smooth, the communication at the head office made it appear there was no time difference between the U.K. and Nepal.
Upon arriving in Nepal the pick up from the airport and briefing were clear and to the point with no delays or issues. The trek itself has definitely been one of the most beautiful and difficult things I have ever embarked upon and I have NO regrets with my choice in agency or itinerary!
My tour guide for the 3 week package we booked and every day he stayed happy, tried his best to keep our spirits uplifted and made sure all the little things behind the scenes were sorted so all we had to do was focus on the trek itself. I highly recommend having him as a tour guide especially if you’re trekking in the Everest Region. Also, our Porter deserves a special shout-out for showing the strength of these Nepalese people, much stronger than I could imagine to be.

I completed the EBC trek with this local tour operator in October. From the beginning the company were excellent. They responded to all questions very quickly and clearly. They provided lots of extra information for me for my stay in Kathmandu. The guide on my trek, Raj, was excellent. He was great fun and had our safety as his first priority all the time. He kept us positive throughout and gave us clear information before each day of what would happen. The lodges we stayed in were exactly what we needed and the food throughout the trek was great. Our porters were also great fun and so kind. Raj was excellent at keeping everyone together and making sure that everybody was ok during the trek. We had a beautiful celebratory dinner once we had completed the trek, where we saw some traditional dancing and received plaques to remember our trek. The trek exceeded my expectations and I think a lot of that is down to Himalayan Recreation. I would highly recommend them for your trek!
This 18-day, guided trip will take you to the top of Mera Peak (6,461 m), one of the most sought-after trekking peaks in Nepal. Staying in Hotel Moonlight or similar on arrival in Kathmandu. Standard teahouses and tents will be used for accommodation during the trek. Please note that most teahouses only have shared toilet facilities. For tent accommodation, a four-season sleeping bag and a foam mattress will be provided. All accommodations in Kathmandu and in teahouses are on a twin-shared basis.
We can request for a single room in Kathmandu and during the trek (wherever possible) at an additional single supplement fee of USD 350 per person. However, single supplement during the trek will not be possible everyday since there are several teahouses along the trekking route that do not allow single room accommodation. At most, you will get single rooms only in lower-elevation areas.
They are very professional. I was there in Kathmandu for my 2 week round trip to Mt.Everest trekking. Though they seem to be start up but their service is very professional and excellent. It was my short spring tour but sweet , Honestly it was like heaven on earth. But I will be definitely be back for long visit this summer with my family.

The agency is an expert in Manaslu region, Karma made all the preparations very smooth. I am a solo traveler and he helped me to find a group. All the communication was very smooth and I always got quick answers. Despite the tight schedule, the agency managed to get all the permits, and we left for the trek the day after arriving in Kathmandu. Karma and Nima are knowledgeable, responsible and funny guide/supporter, who made sure we had the best experience during the trek:) We loved the nature, villages, mountain views.
