In November 2023 me and my friend embarked on a bucket list adventure. We booked a private tour for the drive in and out EBC via Gokyo Ri trip. Right from the get go everything was smooth, the communication at the head office made it appear there was no time difference between the U.K. and Nepal.
Upon arriving in Nepal the pick up from the airport and briefing were clear and to the point with no delays or issues. The trek itself has definitely been one of the most beautiful and difficult things I have ever embarked upon and I have NO regrets with my choice in agency or itinerary!
My tour guide for the 3 week package we booked and every day he stayed happy, tried his best to keep our spirits uplifted and made sure all the little things behind the scenes were sorted so all we had to do was focus on the trek itself. I highly recommend having him as a tour guide especially if you’re trekking in the Everest Region. Also, our Porter deserves a special shout-out for showing the strength of these Nepalese people, much stronger than I could imagine to be.
Excellent, very professional for Himalaya tours, we visit almost the holy Budda places and sightseeing around the Paro, old capital Punakha and Thimpu as well, feel the typical culture of Bhutan and Nepal

This trek was a perfect choice for a first introduction to the Himalayas and was great for a schedule that included more sightseeing around Nepal. We had this great trek "LUMBA SUMBA TREK" situated between the Kanchenjunga and Makalu region of Taplejung District, the trekking was a bit unique with less crowded travelers and trekkers which made the trekking more smooth and convenient for the every day settlement and activities. We encountered the most untouched natural places of this trek with beautiful flora and fauna,Himalayas, landescapes, routes,warm hearted local people, beautiful rhododendron's covered mountains, animals like:Yak, musk deer, Red panda which made our trekking very much enjoyable.So this trek last point was Olangchula gola which located between the boarder of Nepal and Tibet and on our last day we enjoyed with some local brew called "CHHANG" and Local meat to celebrate our Succes Trek of Lumba Sumba,our team guide Pasang was very helpful guys with bright smile in his cheek, very experienced guide and friendly during the trek which help us to be more relax during the trek.

Although I wanted something off the beaten path, I worried this route might not be challenging enough. But I instantly realized this would be a worthy adventure with the warmest hospitality.
The trails are generally good, but you should know that the whole trip is generally straight up and down. Make sure you have walking sticks and if youre not used to hiking for several days with a pack you should consider hire a porter to carry your pack.
I started the tour with some sight seeing in Delhi and continue with Agra and Jaipur tour. It was an amazing trip especially for solo trip and the first timer in India. Mr. Tarun Joshi and Rajesh from Agra both are very professional. They take care of me during my trip and make sure all run smoothly and I enjoy the trip. Mr. Saurav is a very great person, he take cares all of my requests especially visit to Varanasi very professional.
