Overall a great tour, had a good time exploring Rajasthan and Bhagu was a great tour guide. I learnt a lot and had a great time getting to know the group.

Overall, amazing trip!
From the moment I rang up and spoke to lovely Mandy, I was impressed by Explore.
I was part of a group of 8 ranging from 30s-70s, by the end of the trip, we were like old friends. I hadn’t done a group trip before and you are spending a lot of time together so be prepared for that if you are also sharing a room.
Luckily we all got on really well and had a laugh together but you do have to carve out some solo time.
Itinerary - this trip is described as moderate but it’s quite full on. So many activities are squeezed in to the available time and a fair bit of travel in between, but this is broken up by stops on an off the bus for points of interest.
It meant we saw so much of Sri Lanka, we covered 2000km. Think, temples, wildlife, food, hiking, boat / train trip, beach, cities, and history and beautiful scenery.
Accommodation - some were lovely, some not so much, but all were clean / acceptable, some just a bit more basic than others.
Most had pretty good food as we eat at the hotel most nights due to often being off the beaten track.
You are accompanied for the whole trip by your tour guide and we were very lucky to have Sam.
Sam made the trip.
He has such and in depth knowledge of Sri Lanka and was so willing to tell us everything we wanted to know about the history and customs of the country that we really felt like we had gotten to know the country in depth. He had so many little extras ‘up his sleeve’ from stopping the bus to show us how to blow bubbles with a soap plant to arranging for us to go into the signal room at the train station.
I am sure all of the guides are brilliant, but know if you are lucky to be assigned Sam, he is something special.
The trip was fantastic, so many experiences packed into two weeks and friends I hope to stay in touch with. If you’re considering this trip, 10/10 recommend.

Would’ve liked a bit more time in Kandy- having an afternoon on the first day perhaps ? Maybe can streamline the tea plantation and shorten theearlier stop to the gem place.

My trip to Nepal was absolutely incredible! In the limited time frame, the tour managed to cover all of the country's major highlights. We have just spent a week in Sri Lanka for our honeymoon and use Aitken Spence as our chauffeur guide for our trips. We had Rodney as our chauffeur guide and I have never met someone so lovely, calm, patient, helpful and passionate. He is a credit to the company and made our visit to Sri Lanka very relaxing and took care of our every need. He was punctual every day for our meeting times, enlightened us with all sorts of information about Sri Lanka during our trip which was very interesting and made sure we were comfortable all the time. The car was comfortable and very clean every day and had enough leg room and space for all our luggage. We fit a lot into our 1 week stay in Sri Lanka and it would not have been the same without using Aitken Spence. I would 100% recommend this company, all you need to do is sit back and relax while everything is taken care of for you!
Molt recomanat!! D'entrada perquè en Gokul i alguns dels seus treballadors parlen molt bé el castellà i ens han ajudat amb totes les barreres lingüístiques que teníem tant a dins com a fora de l'hotel i en les visites/excursions.
En Gokul i el seu Staff són encantadors. Tenen un hotel que està situat en una zona molt cèntrica a prop de Thamel i de la parada de busos per anar a Pokhara/Chitwan.
L'espai és molt bonic i tranquil. Les habitacions són molt còmodes. I ens ha agradat molt en relació qualitat preu.
Ens han ajudat amb tot el que ens feia falta. Les excursions i visites guiades eren planejades per l'agència d'en Gokul i han estat una experiència increïble. El guía (en Siri) ens ha explicat fins l'últim detall de les històries de la ciutat. I l'excursió a Chitwan que ens ha planejat en Gokul ha estat una passada! Dues nits increïbles en una mena de resort amb piscina (molt bo qualitat preu) per viure l'experiència plena del safari i altres activitats en el Parc Natural.
En definitiva, en Gokul i el seu Staff ens han permès viure l'experiència nepalí en plena essència!

I had an amazing tour, thanks to Mr. Dinesh Kumar who took a good personal care of me since the first message I dropped here to enquire about some details, and he showed a high amount of welcoming, accommodating and flexibility to change some minor details in the program to suit my needs. I was able to see a lot in the 6 days I spent on the tour, this included tourist sights, traditional markets and a wildlife safari. The car was clean and comfortable, the hotels were thoroughly selected, especially those in Agra and Jaipur which I liked the most, and the guides I met in each city were kind and knowledgeable. I can't recommend this tour and company enough, and I wish them all the success in the future.

Sri Lanka Time Tour via Aitken Spence. We met our driver and guided Sanka in Negombo for a 10 day tour of Sri Lanka. As soon as we met Sanka we knew we had made a very good decision, he was very friendly and welcoming us to continue our tour with the first events, he was prompt and very knowledgeable, and very proud of his country. Driving in Sri Lanka is crazy but Sanka was very experienced and we never felt unsafe. Safety throughout Sri Lanka is a high priority, but we never feel unsafe anywhere and encourage visitors to carry on while the tourism industry suffers. The hotels we stayed in were excellent and the staff were always friendly and very helpful. The tour is very busy with some long days, but we end with a six day break in the Maldives to recover. A truly memorable holiday with lots of laughs and banter with Sanka who made the tour so enjoyable.
