We had a blast going to EBC base camp last september. Me and friends booked our trip via this local travel specialist and they organized the whole trip so well. Guides and porters we also very cheerful and always smiling. We enjoyed the every moment during our trek. Going valley in the morning over 4000m was severe coldness in winter because no sunshine due to surrounding mountains and wind. (Dingboche to Lobche)
It might be better to add 1 more layer, considering the weather.
Since a bit earlier than year end holiday, I could spend more quiet time.
On the way to back, I met more people who were going up.
Mr Bibek, the guide was knowledgeable and explained the mountains.
He was good advisor also for health conditions but you should know yourself first.

I and my partner did Upper Mustang Trek with Himalayanleisure in June 2018. It was a great experience. The flights couldn't happen due to bad weather so we took a private jeep which was an adventure. The trek was arranged nicely and the staffs were very caring. Our guide and porter made the trek possible. It is a beautiful trek I can recommend to other people in rainy season in Nepal. In general, when we reach high, there was no rain.
We had a great trip, our guide was super nice, we loved it! We will try to stay in touch with them, we loved the atmosphere, the kindness of the people we met, the authenticity of encounters. We were very lucky (thanks to our guide who planned it very well!) and we could go up to the basecamp because wether conditions were amazing.

Ganesh from the local operator organized a Gokyo-EBC Trek for me. As I was trekking alone, I could change my program anytime. I could count on him all the time, so I managed to make a great trek (my 9th in Nepal!). My guide Shiva was amazing: always there when I needed him, not there when he realized I wanted to be on my own and enjoy the fantastic views. A great experience, would always recommend Ganesh & his team. I hope to realize my last "dream trek" also with them: Mustang!
