From the first to the last second, the expedition was not only carried out very professionally, but also with a great deal of passion and a remarkable mixture of excellent planning and flexibility depending on the environmental conditions. You could tell from the entire team and crew — each highly competent in their respective fields — how committed they are to their job, but also to Antarctica as a unique and most beautiful corner of the planet. Safety and environmental protection were taken seriously, at the same time there was always a lot of fun and a lot to learn (and a lot to eat & drink) on board. All in all, a breathtaking experience.

Unlike most people on this trip my husband had to drag me kicking and screaming to Antarctica! I am so glad he did. This has been the most amazing time. Everything surpassed my expectations. Cabins were much bigger than I had thought and the food was wonderful-thankyou Tracie and her fabulous staff Service both meals/bar and cabin was wonderful too. Excellent. Enjoyed the diverse country, accommodation, sites visited especially Titicaca and of course Machu Picchu. Zema is quietly confident and very competent. Handles diverse characters really well. Lunches included were at outstanding restaurants. Tolerable delays waiting for rides and minor inconveniences dragging luggage through narrow streets etc.

Overall I loved the trip, and what was offered. Again my only complaint is the accommodations. Basic is fine but cleanliness and pride of ownership should be important. I would definitely consider another G Adventures but the accommodation will weigh heavily on that decision. I love the 18-39 age group, but with upgraded accommodation.
