Drive out of the city to Mollepata, which takes around two hours. This is also where your breakfast and lunch are scheduled today. Resume the journey after breakfast in Mollepata. It takes one more hour to reach Soraypampa. A short break in Soraypampa is followed by a two-hour ascent on foot. Your hike comes to an end high up in the Peruvian Alps, where melting glaciers feed into a glistening, turquoise body of water perched atop a hill.
