Your Peruvian Adventure begins and ends in Lima, fondly known as the 'City of Kings'. There's much to discover in Peru's capital; your guide will lead you through the city, visiting the main attractions including Pucllana Pyramid, the Convent of San Francisco, and the many archaeological museums, all with beautiful ocean views.
Leaving Lima behind, you arrive in Cusco for an acclimatisation walk around the city with your guide. Admire the colonial architecture before sampling the local produce at your included organic coffee tasting. From here, you embark on your exploration of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, stopping at Maras Salt Ponds and some of the most scenic viewpoints in the valley. A unique culinary experience awaits at Piuray Lake where locals prepare their traditional Peruvian dish, Pachamanca, for you to enjoy.
You soon begin your trek to Machu Picchu, admiring spectacular views of the Urubamba River Valley as you ascend to the fascinating archaeological complex. Take a moment to appreciate the sacred citadel of Machu Picchu, witnessing it in the first morning mist - a truly magical experience like no other.
Return to Cusco where your guide takes you on an exciting city tour, visiting the huge Inca Ceremonial Centre of Sacsayhuaman and other intriguing Inca sites. Your next guided hike takes place on Palcoyo, known as the new mountain of colours. Admire the three rainbow mountains at 4,900m high with panoramic views of the Red Valley and the impressive Ausangate snow mountain (considered the highest mountain in Cusco).Your Peruvian Adventure comes to an end in Lima where your guide finalises your unforgettable trip with a walking tour of the modern district of Miraflores, followed by a delicious evening meal in a local restaurant.
