I would recommend this trip to anyone considering it! There’s no way I could have planned such an amazing trip and fit so much into 10 days! Our guide Jose has been amazing, he absolutely made our trip and I can’t imagine how it could have been improved. He is completely organised, considerate and brings a fun energy to the trip that made the whole experience an unforgettable one! He is so knowledgeable about all things Costa Rica and his recommendations were always fantastic. I can't recommend this tour enough. Well organized, amazing experience. Hiking was beautiful and the porters and staff were so hard working, they carried everything, set-up camp for us every day/night and allowed guests to immerse in the magic of the Incan culture and natural beauty unencumbered. Also - the food, which was cooked fresh every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious, healthy and made with care.

Overall the trip was good.
However, it would have been nice to have stayed an extra day at the eco-lodge Selva Verde, as a day off rather than at La Fortuna which was a tourist town. The trip was suppose to be a wildlife tour. There was only the need for one day at La Fortuna, so very disappointing missed out on Selva Verde.
The accommodation at La Fortuna was awful, more of a motel, very disappointing not even near a wildlife area, very disappointing.
Otherwise, the other hotels were very nice.
Our tour leader Walter, excellent, very entertaining, organised, informative, and efficient everyone liked Walter.
Also our Bus driver, Randy, very thoughtful about his passengers, an excellent driver, considering the conditions he had to drive in, and also he kept the bus clean, and tidy. Very impressed, little things.
