Our guides made sure that we were informed about the people and culture of Indonesia. Since we were already somewhat familiar with Bali, the Lombok/Gili parts of the tour were an excellent addition, for a broader understanding of the country, For us, there was the right mix of busy days of touring the sights, and days of rest, relaxation and time to explore on our own.
