Put on your walking shoes and head for the Atlas Mountains from Fez. Travel through copses of evergreen pine, cedar and poplar trees. You might even encounter nomadic Berber people along the way. We took a 10 days trip from Marrakesh to Fes, through Ourzazat and Merzuga desert. Our driver was Mokhtar. We had wonderful time. mokhtar is a very skilled and friendly driver, knowing a lot about every region of Moroco. He knows good photo spots as well. The hotel we stayed in Ourzazat was boutique and very relaxing. The second night we stayed in a luxury camp at the desert, which was above the expectations. A great experience to see a lot of Morocco in relatively short time - I highly recommend Top Desert Tours and Mohamed! Such a variety of experiences and learnt a lot about the country, culture, landscapes, people. Thank you Mokhtar!
