He timed the site visits perfectly so we were easily able to spend time at the Moorish Castle, Pena Palace, and Quinta da Regaleira in one day, with a break for a delicious lunch in Sintra and a stop to wander in town. We'll drive to Fatima through the agricultural lands of Ribatejo. Once there, experience life as a pilgrim at the Sanctuary of Fatima, a legendary and important Christian site that receives approximately 5 million visitors each year. We’ll also visit the Sanctuary, which is twice the size of St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican, and the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fátima. Absorb the religious atmosphere and serenity that characterize this unique place.
