We had a great time! The hotels picked for us were so great. The breakfast must have been awesome because when i came home weighed the same as when i left and we walked lots. The location of the hotels put us in the middle of the best areas. Very helpful with all our needs. Would book with them again.

I really enjoyed our tour guide, Isaso. She was very friendly, helpful, informative of what our itinerary will be for each day, let us know when are our W.C. breaks were, how much time we have at each stop, present information of each place were were visiting, and very caring. Also, I like our driver, Domingo. Excellent driver so many curves and turns. I would have like to spend more time in the small towns such as Porto but due to the tight schedule, we did not have the time. I wish the bus had disability seats better accommodationsfor one elderly lady with cane/wheelchair and her daughter. Not fair that they had to walk further from the bus drop off area. Love all the hotels and hotel rooms. They were all very nice and clean. The breakfast in the hotels were delicious and had nice variety, too. I especially love the flamenco show and dinner in Madrid. The show was top notch and the dinner was one of the best I had. A very fun, long trip with sightseeing and long walks.

Overall, the trip was excellent, the local guide provided interesting local anecdotes. However we are a bit unsure why the hotel in general did not have tea/coffee making facility, which is normal in Australia.
From enchanting mountains to impressive beaches, natural scenery, above to the gastronomic escapade. Join our 15-day tour and discover the gems of the awe-inspiring Spanish and Portuguese heritage. Architectural exposure in Madrid opens this spectacular journey, continuing to Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia to unveil the myths and legend about the supernatural presence of elves and witches and to get a feel of the delightful local gastronomy. Spiritual visit of the Holy Virgin Mary in Fatima, wine tasting in Oporto and vivid walks around the old Lisbon city centre will take you to know the Portuguese essence of their Mediterranean way of life. Spain will conquer your heart by its rich history, and gastronomic experience in Portugal will fill this trip with the life-time memories.

UTracks provided the perfect way for my husband and I to walk a lovely part of the Portuguese Camino from Porto to Tui just for a week. The Camino isn’t a luxury vacation, it has a more humble history, and in the past we walked independently, staying in albergues in Spain, with no set daily itinerary on our way to Santiago de Compostela. This time we wanted to walk just a portion of the Portuguese road, with UTracks to do the groundwork and make our reservations for us. The inns and homes chosen to stay in all had charm and convenience and were, without exception, clean and run by friendly people. The route through Northern Portugal is beautiful, and the chosen itinerary alternated between challenging and easy days in order to let us enjoy the charming towns along the way. Well done, and thanks for the good memories, UTracks!
