Truly wonderful trip. Cruising down the Norman River into the Gulf & also Cobbold Gorge. Train travel on both Savannahlander and Gulflander. Staying in train carriages for accommodation and viewing the lava tubes. This trip was so well organised by our fantastic driver Andrea who went out of his way to keep everyone happy. Don’t miss this great experience.

New Zealand will set your heart racing, while you take the country’s pulse. From its unexpected city sights – who knew you could construct a church from cardboard? – to its culinary delights, this voyage is as thrilling as it is tasty. And then there are the natural wonders: gem-like glaciers, soaring fiords, snow-dusted mountains, and bubbling geysers among them. On this NZ holiday, drop in on Christchurch, soak your limbs in Rotorua, eat your way around Queenstown and feel the full force of nature at Milford Sound/Piopiotahi. Trips to New Zealand don’t get much better than this.
Tours to Tasmania don’t get much more epic than this two-week sojourn. Expect World Heritage listed historic sites and wilderness areas, blinding beaches and glacial lakes, with a parade of distilleries, wineries and farm gates in between. It’s hard to pick highlights, but we’ll throw a few out there: a Wineglass Bay cruise, part of your Freycinet adventure; a Gordon River cruise along Tasmania’s wild West Coast; and a Port Arthur guided tour, among so many others. This is Tasmania touring at its finest.

Eye-popping landscapes. Jaw-dropping activities. And local know-how by the bucketload. This trip isn’t about seeing the North Island – it’s about experiencing it. In all its spectacular, quirky, historic glory. Expect: towering volcanoes, roaring waterfalls, magical caves and out-of-this-world views. The adventure starts HERE.
Great trip. The guide was great, the driver did a great job and the people themselves were friendly and accommodating. The first picture below is with the guide Chantzee after we walked up "the steepest street in the world" in Dunedin, Baldwin street, the second is of Milford Sound.
Culture and nature unite in this inter-island New Zealand tour. Oh, and there’s a good dose of food and wine on the side to deliver a well-rounded taste of North and South. Whether you’re into wide, open spaces – Stewart Island, we’re looking at you – bubbling geysers, gem-like glaciers or windswept coasts. Whether you’re a history, sport, architecture or culture buff. This New Zealand guided tour is for you.
Condensing Tasmania’s East Coast highlights into a week is no mean feat. We’ve managed to unite most on this perspective-changing journey taking in wilderness areas, World Heritage listed historic sites and cosmopolitan cities. Tours to Tasmania (from Launceston to Hobart) don’t get much better than this – strap in for a Wineglass Bay cruise, Port Arthur guided tour and epic Freycinet adventure.
Top class hotels. Only the Christchurch hotel did not have a freezer section in the fridge - which meant the ice packs for my insulin could not be frozen.
The staff in all the hotels were excellent and professional.
The meals were well presented and tasty. The rooms presented beautifully. Interesting views too.
Our tour leader Libby has done an excellent job guiding us and leading us in all the right directions. This tour is highly recommended and if you happen to meet Libby you are in for a treat.
The AATKINGS Wilderness trip was easy and enjoyable. There were options to do more or less each day. The coach, food and accommodation were great but it was the easy way the trip showed off beautiful Tasmania, that won me.
While you could spend months exploring the North Island of New Zealand on a tour, if you’re travelling in the right company, you can immerse yourself in the highlights in a week. Discover Wellington’s coolest wine bars, drop in on Rotorua’s hot springs, find a pretty perch on a Bay of Islands tour, get your glow on during a Waitomo Caves tour, then ease into Auckland’s harbour-side lifestyle.
