We had the best time in Guatemala!! There were so many activities that you have done during the trip. The pro is that we don't have the worry about the transportation because there is some people who are always there to assist us. The only con would probably be having those long land trips. The hotels were decent as we only view them as a place to sleep and shower. This tour exceeded our expectations.

This tour to Nicaragua takes you on an exciting journey through exploring the colonial city of Leon, the stunning Ometepe Island, and the charming town of Granada. It begins in Leon, one of the oldest cities in America, where you'll see the city's UNESCO-listed ruins and the Cathedral of Leon. From Leon, the journey continues to Ometepe Island, taking a ferry from San Jorge to Moyogalpa. Once you reach this island, composed of two volcanoes, you'll visit various attractions, including the El Ceibo Museum, Laguna Charco Verde, and the Ojo of Water. The tour then takes you to the colonial city of Granada. Explore the city on a guided walking tour to see historic churches and colonial homes from the 16th century. Later at night, ascend to Santiago crater to witness the red lava lake in the Masaya Volcano National Park. The next day, embark on a full-day adventure to the spectacular Mombacho Volcano. The tour departs from Fisherman's Wharf with a knowledgeable tour guide on board the bus. On the way out to Muir Woods, you will cross the iconic Golden Gate Bridge with breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay and Alcatraz Island. Continue along the Pacific Coast Highway, providing stunning views of the coastal mountains before heading further to Muir Woods National Monument. Relax in your comfortable seat and enjoy the beautiful scenery while your tour guide shares fun and informative facts along the way.
Muir Woods is home to the Coast Redwoods, some of the tallest trees in the world, and it is the last remaining
stands of Old Growth Forest, sustained by the temperate marine fog. With maps in hand, take a walk through the spectacular woods and take in all of its natural beauty. There are a number of paved walking trails that take you close to the magnificent giants, or you can explore the area by using the unpaved walking trails leading up the hills. It may even feel like a movie scene because Muir Woods was also used as the film set for a few blockbusters, such as the “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”.
After exploring Muir Woods for about 1.5 hours at your leisure, we will head to charming Sausalito, a small
Mediterranean-style seaside town in Marin County, home to some of the country's wealthiest citizens. Sausalito is a gorgeous destination that offers boutique shopping, unique art galleries, parks, amazing food and breathtaking views of the bay.
If you wish to spend time in Sausalito, you can choose to hop off the tour and enjoy a ferry ride back to San
Francisco with beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco skyline and Alcatraz Island (ferry
tickets not included), or you can stay on board the tour and return back to San Francisco.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked a tour with Vibe Adventures because the company was relatively new, but wow, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Alex planned an eight-day itinerary that went from Mexico City to the beautiful state of Michoacan. Alex, myself and another tour guide, Nayeli, enjoyed our share of adventures — horseback riding, hiking to a volcano, ziplining over a lake and sampling exotic foods — but Alex and Nayeli also taught me about Mexican culture and history, and introduced me to many authentic experiences, like speaking with the Purepecha people, an indigenous group in Michoacan.
My tour guides were also flexible with the schedule, giving me options between different activities. Despite my lack of Spanish vocabulary, the Vibe Adventures crew helped translate conversations and proved that humor and compassion transcend beyond cultural and geographic boundaries. Without the knowledge of Alex and Nayeli and without their enthusiasm, I would not have had such an amazing and memorable trip. I would recommend Vibe Adventures to anyone seeking a unique, fun and educational travel experience.

We loved our tour which took us through many of the beautiful colonial towns in central Mexico. Our guide Salvador was friendly and knowledgeable, our driver was amazing, and we were lucky to be accompanied by two young women who work for Vibe Adventures. They were so friendly and a joy to travel with. The only thing I would change is to add an extra night in San Miguel de Allende-- our time there was too short!
