The only recommendation I make is to reconsider Panorama hotel. It was poorly maintained, poor hygiene. Other than that the other properties, itineraries and food were great. Well organized trekking tour, excellent value for money! Plenty of delicious food, knowledgeable and attending guide. Accommodations were also ok. Requires good physical condition. Tipping is expected basically everywhere so remember to add that on your travel budget.
Our trip to Egypt with World Expeditions was excellent. We had two guides, one for Cairo and one for the Nile and Aswan. Both had tertiary qualifications in Egyptian history and were passionate about it. It is an amazing country a nd a great, well run tour.
Excellent trip in general. Only negative points for me were that some accommodation was a little tired, the mosque is destroyed but still on the agenda, the argon oil sales trip was a waste of time and there could have been less driving. But many more positives than negatives
