The highlight of my trip was undoubtedly the medina in Fez. Wandering through its winding alleyways, surrounded by centuries-old craftsmanship, vibrant markets, and the hum of daily life, was like stepping into a living piece of history. We had a fantastic trip to Egypt. I am a single mum with a 10 and 12 year old. We were in a very small group with just one other family and we had a brilliant time. Mohammed, the group leader was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and fun and made everything run smoothly, even the bits that didn’t (don’t expect the train to be on time, however flashy the new station). He was fantastic with the kids and generous with his experience of all aspects of Egyptian life.
The trip is pretty full on but there is downtime built in. We love Egypt and will definitely go back. We’ll also definitely do another holiday with explore. For me, being on my own with the kids, the group meant I got some downtime and everything being so well organised meant I felt like I got a holiday as well! As an added bonus it was no more expensive to have two rooms at the hotels!

This trip only worked at five stars because of our magnificent tour guide. This was our first experience with a tour group, and His Awesomeness Ahmed has now set the bar impossibly high. He made it personal, and the twelve of us in the group followed his lead, making the whole experience one for the ages. Morocco is now a core memory for us. Thanks, Ahmed!!!

7 days was well worth the extra time to the long weekend. Amazing local guides, varied scenery and excellent food for a camping trip. the 7 days gave time acclimatise to the heat, to practice getting up at 0600 and to get used to camping. Plus the tour of Marrakesh on the last day was a nice end to the trip.

Itinerary was fascinating, food and cultural experiences were wonderful, all local people interactions were friendly and hospitable, tour leader was excellent, Morocco is a wonderful country. A bit too much windshield time between sites but this can't be avoided. The hotels, riads, and gites were fun and authentic. Loved this trip.
