SMALL GROUP LODGE SAFARI: Encounter incredible wildlife on this 9-day Kenya safari with comfortable lodge accommodation. This tour starts by picking you from your hotel/home within Nairobi 9:30 am. We will drive you to David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, and have a walk through the little center from 11 am – 12 pm in an open space, with a rope fence around it. The youngest elephants come trotting out of the bush to greet their keepers who stand at the ready with giant bottles of milk. For the next 10–15 minutes you can watch each little one slurp and gargle their milk. When they're done, there's water to play with and keepers to nudge and get hugs from. While you get to watch them play and take photos. You find out how old they were when they arrived at the orphanage, where they were rescued from, and what got them into trouble. Once the youngest are all fed, they are led back into the bush, and it's the turn of the 2–3 year olds. Some of them can feed themselves, and some are still fed by their keepers. Watch them hold their giant milk bottles in their trunks and close their eyes with joy as they make quick work of several gallons of milk.
Kenya's week-long safari adventure was an unforgettable journey, taking us from the breathtaking elephant herds of Amboseli National Park beneath Mount Kilimanjaro, to serene early-morning boat rides among hippos on Lake Naivasha, and the vibrant birdlife of Lake Nakuru, where hundreds of species filled the skies. It concluded with the wildlife-rich plains of the Masai Mara, where we encountered lions, rhinos, giraffes, and zebras in their natural habitat. Each moment was seamlessly organised, our guides were expert in all areas, covering topics on not only the animals in the parks, but welcoming us into the essence and culture of Kenya as a country, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in all that Kenya had to offer - it's beauty and wildlife while experiencing the peace and wonder of Africa’s landscapes—a truly inspiring and transformative adventure.
-Visit Olpejeta conservancy where you will see some of Kenya's endangered rhino species. The sweetwaters located in Ol Pejeta is the only place in Kenya where you can see the Chinmpanzees. One of the more scenic and tropical parks, it is home to the Big 5, as well as some rare forest-dwelling game like the shy bongo antelope.
