Our Kilimanjaro climb happened on 1st January, 2025 was an experience of a lifetime. The guides including Gabriel were highly professional and ensured we were comfortable every step of the way. This tour lasts 6 hours and will take you to several interesting destinations. The time in each destination can be flexible as per your request.
At 8.00, you will be greeted and picked up at your hotel’s lobby by a local tour guide. You will be transferred to the Marble Mountains by car.
Once you arrive at the mountains, you will be taken to the practice slope. At the practice slope, you will learn the basics of knot tying, harness wearing, hardware and proper rappelling techniques. If the guides are satisfied that you have geared down safely, you will head down the first of 2 possible rappels.
The first rappel is a short walk from the practice area and boasts a fantastic view of the ocean. This 22- meter line has great exposure, fantastic scenery and makes you feel like you are much higher than you actually are.
The second rappel is down into one of the caves at Marble Mountain that was used as a workshop and also as a hideout for Vietnamese military during the war. Get ready for a full Indiana Jones experience. This rappel is about 15 meters down.
Then you will have a picnic style lunch after both rappels have been done.
Following the morning adventure and a full lunch, you can recharge your energy to explore the other caves and temples in Marble Mountains.
After about 6 hours, the tour finishes and you will be transferred back to your hotel.
