Visiting Tanzania in April and choosing Habari Adventure was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the moment I landed to the final goodbye, everything was smooth, professional, and deeply heartfelt.
I took on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, and though the mountain tested every part of me, the Habari team was great at every step. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and caring, always checking in and keeping the team spirit alive with their encouragement. The porters were heroes-cheerful, strong, and full of heart. And the meals! Every bite gave me energy and comfort, especially when the altitude and cold got tough.
Summit night was the hardest and most emotional part of the journey, but also the most magical. Reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise, with the sky painted in gold, was a moment of pure triumph. I couldn't have done it without the love and support of the Habari crew.
Beyond the mountain, I also went on a short safari-and again, Habari delivered a soul-stirring experience. From spotting elephants and lions to peaceful sunsets over the savannah, I felt connected to nature in a way I never imagined possible. The guide was passionate and deeply knowledgeable, and the camping setup made me feel both adventurous and safe.

This is by far the best route for climbing Kilimanjaro. Days 3-6 go up & down to get you acclimatized before summitting on day 7. Don't do it any shorter than 8 days.
Fantastic guides, porters, team. Great value for what you pay. Without this fanatastic team my father and I would not have made it to Uhuru peak. Great communication and service by Noel and his staff. We also did a 3-day safari with a professional and very knowledgeable guide/driver. Tiloma lodge was beautiful and great quality service/food.
The porters worked tirelessly and always had a smile, and the cook prepared hot, tasty meals even at high altitudes. The tents were clean and comfortable, and the equipment was high quality. Communication from the office was clear and responsive before, during, and after the trek

We used local travel specialists and service was outstanding. We had good nutrition and a competent guide, which is all that is needed. We took a guided town tour of Moshi before our climb, which was a great cultural experience. We totally recommend Rongai route for Kilimanjaro Hiking.
The first day of our safari we visited Tarangire National Park. The highlight was definately the enormeous amount of elephants that we saw. But the whole park was unbelieveable beautiful and stuffed with wildlife. The time there flew way to fast! I would like to visit it again at a time when the Tarangire river is flowing.
On day two we went to the Ngorongoro crater. The view from the top is very scenic, and the crater itself is filled with a lot of different animals. We spotted a black rhino, a pack of hyenas chasing an ostrich and countless lions.
Climbing Kilimanjaro is challenging, but with this tour operator it felt safe, well cared for, and truly enjoyable. I couldn't t recommend them enough to anyone planning this adventure!
We climbed the Kilimajaro by the Rongai Route. It was an amazing experience. 6 days there, walking, talking, eating, sharing... Es una ruta asequible, con un último dia de ascensión de dificultad media debido a la altitud y el frío. Our guides (Peter and Daniel) amazing guides and very experienced. They checked our gear before the hike to ensure we had everything we needed. They monitored our heat rate and oxygen levels each night. They knew when we needed encouragement and went above and beyond to get all eight of us to the summit. The porters that carried our tents, food, etc were friendly and helpful. The local tour operator knows their stuff. We could not have done it without them. We highly recommend them if you are planning to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.
