This 15-day trip in Vietnam is surprisingly good! Even though I did a lot of research and watched a ton of videos about the places we were going to visit, Vietnam is still breathtakingly stunning. I really love Hoi An and its charming vibe. I would love to come back and see more of Vietnam. Besides that, I can't thank the team enough for arranging this tour – it was perfect. Enjoyed my walking tour of Vietnam. So much variety and fun and no worries at all. So many extra excursions and insights. I would say the walking is not difficult at all. It would suit any level of fitness. The leader really looked after the group. Great if you’re a single man or women who loves to travel. I can’t wait for another tour.
The Inside Vietnam trip was very comprehensive, covering from North to South of the Country. Accommodation was excellent, and internal travel was good. But would have loved to spend another night at the homestay, which was very relaxing by the river and nearby local villages, amidst the full on pace of the trip. And less time in Hanoi and Saigon, which was very busy and crowded.
Far ranging busy trip. Halong bay cruise with luxury accommodation and food was a particular highlight. Train trip overnight was interesting but would not rush to repeat. Overall great trip in a special country. Meals were excellent and excellent value. Our guide ran everything smoothly and we had very pleasant and interesting companions.
Vietnam was an amazing and varied place and Explores itinerary managed to pack in a huge variety of scenery, activities and education including places and people I wouldn't have managed to find alone. Long's leadership was brilliant keeping the teenagers engaged and encouraged to try new experiences and food.
We really enjoyed this comprehensive tour of Vietnam. Including time in more rural areas as well as the well known cities and sites, it gave us a great insight into local culture and there was plenty of opportunity to meet the locals who were incredibly friendly. The trip ran seemlesly in the extremely capable hands of our tour leader Diem, one of the best we've had (this was our 6th family holiday with Explore). Highlights would include all of the bike rides, exploring Tam Coc caves by boat, Saigon by cyclo, the amazing food, so fresh and plentiful, and the kids loved haggling for bargains in the markets and shops (especially Hoi An). Accommodation and transport were both of a great standard. Well done Explore!
