The tour was well planned although too tiring at some points. Our tour guides were good but special mention for ANTONIO (guide in Rome onwards) and Emma (Paris). They were both fantastic, handling the group well making the trip even more enjoyable. Angeles/Angela was also hardworking, she has a lot of information to share. However, you may want to reconsider assigning her to english-speaking groups as she may not be that fluent in english yet and her heavy accent made what she is saying harder to understand.

This is a very fast paced tour but totally worth it. The drivers and tour guides are amazing They take their job very seriously and they treat everyone with respect. Tour outings were great. tour guides were really nice. locations were breathtaking at the time of year. August seems to be a holiday month for many countries, so thing were accessible at prompt times without standing on line. we go to see things at the times allotted and not stand in line to wait.

What a fabulous tour! What can go wrong with Walking & Wine Tasting?? - Absolutely nothing....a fantastic tour and one that I/we were dubious about due to our lack of stamina for walking, however this was paced fabulously and the walking was wonderful with some stunning scenery. Accommodation was excellent (apart from one very basic hotel). The places visited were all different in there own way, but it was great to get out of Madrid and into Countryside.
The Group were great - A mix of Brits. Aussies. Americans and a Kiwi and all above the age of 50, but please don't let this put you off booking this tour!!
The Winery's & Bodegas visited were an excellent mix. The food, was truly amazing. Magdalena our Tour guide was fabulous and considering this was her first tour with Explore, she did a remarkable job.
