This trek was a perfect choice for a first introduction to the Himalayas and was great for a schedule that included more sightseeing around Nepal. My guide Dipak was very knowledgeable and flexible being able to cater the trip and make changes to improve as we went. Your final destination is Mardi Himal Base Camp, the highest point of the trek located at an altitude of 4,500 metres. The journey downhill takes you through the beautiful village of Siding, where you will spend a night before driving to Pokhara, where this private, guided trip comes to an end. This short trek will take you through some of the most picturesque, unspoilt destinations in the Annapurna region. Me and my daughter traveled to Nepal and chose Mardi Himal trek. I’m an active 60 years lady. This trek was hard sometimes but we had enough time to go slowly and enjoy the view, take photos, have tea and coffee with Mountain View. Mardi Himal trek is new but amazing. After Mardi we did Poon Hill trek because we had time and wanted to continue the adventure. It was a great trek to see local villages, rivers, forests. We also had the best tour guide Ramesh.
