Barcelona’s vibrant energy meets Parisian elegance on the 'Catalonia, Provence, Burgundy with Paris' walking tour. Over eight relaxed days, this guided group trip is tailored for seniors, featuring hotel accommodation, transportation, and delicious meals. Explore the colorful streets of Barcelona, the lavender fields of Provence, and the storied vineyards of Burgundy before arriving in Paris. The unique selling point is the journey’s harmonious blend of Spanish and French art, cuisine, and scenery, all at a gentle pace that encourages true appreciation.
Loved the whole experience- visited all the best countries in Europe, tasted wines, spirits and other European alcohol In cheapest prices. It’s not suitable for asians with dark skin and if you’re over 34 yrs old unless you have a thick skin to not give any reaction to the comments some people make as a joke- only because they are white and still young. Not sure what they are so proud about in those moments. Other than that I enjoyed my time with rest of them. The price was on discount- I had to add on some extra adventures which worth it. Honestly 24 days is finished so quickly. Recommend to all the people who like explore Europe more in less time in cheaper price. Great work contiki, I am on my second one now- in Thailand, this group of approx 30 people is much better than European escapades (just my personal experience).
There were 2 guides in the trip. First Guide Joana was quite friendly and informative. 2nd guide was rude and concentrated on personal experience rather giving practical info. Negative of this tour was guide.
The trip was good. Just need to be considerate about the comfort of your clients on the hotels you choose to book them, somewhere that will make them more comfortable after a long day trip. Some of your guides are exceptionally very good, however some of your guides does not know how to communicate well with their passengers hence some miscommunication. The rest of the trip was well organized, you have very good bus drivers. Just need to improve some your itineraries.
A unique experience with many pleasant memories and stories to tell. Our tour guides Orlina and Joaquin were amazing.
In a personal note, tour guides should have an etiquette list to share with the passengers. For example common things like stop talking when the tour guide is giving instructions. If there is a family together dont cut them in the lines to het in/out of the bus, be on time for department, be kind with other passengers when reclining your chairs, etc. These may seem common sense but sharing this will help everyone be aligned and make the experience great for everyone.
