A fantastic trip gave us a real experience of Vietnam and Cambodia! We enjoyed the historical Hanoi and the vibrant HCM. Angkor complex was breathtaking too. Everything was smooth - knowledgeable guides, nice hotels, quality service. Thanks team for this trip!

Fantastic first trip with Explore! We loved every moment - lots packed into the 2 weeks including culture, food, drinks and cycling!
The tour leader Hoan was brilliant- he managed the group really well, and couldn't have been any more accommodating to the group. The cycling distances each day allowed us to explore enough without feeling too much, especially in the heat. The pace was steady and no one was left behind.
All of the accommodation was spot on in terms of location, cleanliness and staff. The Bangkok hotel was a tad dated and would be my only change of the holiday.
Cannot wait to book my next trip with Explore!

Excellent tour, excellent tour leader. My only criticisms are that the tour was 1 or 2 temples too many and that the leader gave too many statistics and tended to repeat himself in his obvious enthusiasm

Champion totally made this trip! He was simple amazing. We had a few changes and he worked so hard to make it work for everyone, which I think had to be hard with so many personalities.
All the explorer trips were great. But would look at a couple of the add ons- the cooking class with Mr Chickn- though it did work out in the end, I think it was new to them as not quite organized and a little hard with the translation- but with time I think it would be great. The 7 isle tour on the speed boat was absolutely terrible- very crowded, unsafe, and food was terrible- like raw chicken terrible. Champion was with us and tried a hard to help us all though and so appreciate his effort. The photo plankin swim was amazing too - but kinda the only thing that was
Again champion totally made up for all the downs - and nothing is perfect- just suggestions. Thank you champion!!! 🙏

We came as a mother and daughter duo and everything went very smoothly! We didn't have to worry about transportation or hotels. I'd certainly recommend if it's your first time to the country. Halong Bay and the Cu Chi tunnels were the highlights of our trip and are a must.

Thanks to Dat's excellent service and communication, our trip was seamless from start to finish. The local guides were knowledgeable, and we experienced a lot. Our time in Vietnam and Thailand was great. We plan a return trip to further destinations with this local tour operator.

This trip was once in a lifetime, we really felt like we saw a lot of Thailand. There was a lot of variety; city, history culture, waterfalls, rivers, railways, caves, wildlife and beaches. I would recommend staying an extra night before in Bangkok there is so much to do, we did a hidden Bangkok bike tour as well as the grand palace and wot pho, river cruise etc. The excursion to cheow lake is great, saw bats in cave, jungle walk, and scenery is beautiful. I would also recommend staying an extra night in Krabi so that you have time to do the 4 island boat tours. We extended out tour by going to Koh Yao Noi where we saw oriental pied hornbills for 4 nights, a perfected to a brilliant trip.

This trip was the perfect balance. I’d always been curious about Thailand but I wasn’t looking for a beach holiday. I wanted a deeper connection, something that would help me understand the soul of the country. Thailand Odyssey delivered that and more.
What stood out to me most was how thoughtful the experience felt. Nothing was overdone or overly “touristy.” Whether we were visiting temples, walking through old ruins, or floating past boats stacked with mangoes and steaming dumplings, it all felt genuine and grounded in place.
The pace was just right. I never felt rushed and yet we saw and experienced so much. Some moments were vibrant and full of life, like drifting through the floating market or sharing meals at small, local spots. Others were more contemplative like taking in the quiet beauty of ancient temples or riding the train past green hills with history hanging in the air.
Traveling in a little group made a real difference. We had enough time and space to connect with each other but also room for quiet reflection. The accommodations were comfortable, the meals were memorable (I’m still thinking about that green curry), and the logistics were smooth from start to finish.
This isn’t a flashy tour. It’s not about luxury or checking off Instagram shots. It’s about slowing down, absorbing your surroundings, and returning home with stories that linger. If that sounds like your kind of travel, I can’t recommend it enough.

The trip, overall itinerary and organisation was very good. This trip covered 3 countries over 4 weeks, in each of which we had a separate tour leader. Although all were nice people and helpful there is room for improvement. Our TL in Cambodia was quite difficult to understand (accent) but more significantly he talked far too much making details difficult to sort out. If he had focussed just on key facts, events etc it would have been much better. Also, all 3 took us to very poor restaurants where it seems they get free meals as a minimum. This should be addressed or made clear to clients.
Nevertheless overall had a fantastic time.
One further item to consider the train from Hanoi to Hue was considered by nearly all the clients on our trip to be exhausting and poor. Perhaps consider upgrading the train compartments. Most hotels were fair to OK with a few good, which I liked.
