Simple stays with essential amenities. Typically guesthouses, hostels or hotels rated below 3 stars — clean, no-frills, and great for value-conscious travelers.
Comfortable and reliable 3-star stays. Expect private rooms, en-suite bathrooms, and solid amenities — a great balance between comfort and cost.
Upscale 4-5 star hotels and lodges. Enjoy high-end service, refined comfort, and premium locations — ideal for travelers seeking extra indulgence.
Champion totally made this trip! He was simple amazing. We had a few changes and he worked so hard to make it work for everyone, which I think had to be hard with so many personalities.
All the explorer trips were great. But would look at a couple of the add ons- the cooking class with Mr Chickn- though it did work out in the end, I think it was new to them as not quite organized and a little hard with the translation- but with time I think it would be great. The 7 isle tour on the speed boat was absolutely terrible- very crowded, unsafe, and food was terrible- like raw chicken terrible. Champion was with us and tried a hard to help us all though and so appreciate his effort. The photo plankin swim was amazing too - but kinda the only thing that was
Again champion totally made up for all the downs - and nothing is perfect- just suggestions. Thank you champion!!! 🙏

This trip was once in a lifetime, we really felt like we saw a lot of Thailand. There was a lot of variety; city, history culture, waterfalls, rivers, railways, caves, wildlife and beaches. I would recommend staying an extra night before in Bangkok there is so much to do, we did a hidden Bangkok bike tour as well as the grand palace and wot pho, river cruise etc. The excursion to cheow lake is great, saw bats in cave, jungle walk, and scenery is beautiful. I would also recommend staying an extra night in Krabi so that you have time to do the 4 island boat tours. We extended out tour by going to Koh Yao Noi where we saw oriental pied hornbills for 4 nights, a perfected to a brilliant trip.

I would definitely recommend this tour, greatly enhanced by our excellent tour guide, Hung, who was incredibly helpful, patient and enthusiastic as well as very informative. Our various local guides were also all very good. There was a good mixture of rural and city walks (without too much time spent in a bus) which included seeing local crafts and industry plus sights of historical interest.
The highlights for me were the two day long hikes, one in Py Long Nature Reserve and the other in the hills leading to the Cham temples. Also, staying at the retreat in Py Long, plus the homestay in the Mekong delta were a real chance to see local life. Other walks involving walking from village to village, were also very interesting.
My only criticisms would be that, as this was advertised as a walking holiday, it would have been good to have has more countryside hikes, and had less time in cities, particularly Hanoi and Hoi An, both of which were very busy and touristy.

Vietnam was an amazing and varied place and Explores itinerary managed to pack in a huge variety of scenery, activities and education including places and people I wouldn't have managed to find alone. Long's leadership was brilliant keeping the teenagers engaged and encouraged to try new experiences and food.
The north of Thailand was my FAVOURITE. I loved the diverse range of 'stays' which kept it exciting and much like an adventure and showed what Thailand had to offer. The Jungle Raft on the second night was an essential bonding experience for the group and allowed us to build friendships and enjoy the trip way more than if we hadn't had that crucial opportunity to connect. The included experiences, free time add ons, and even trip manager suggestions were all top tier! I didn't regret a single experience. 2 night stays were also a relief as travelling can get quite tiring and found that their timing was essential.

We had the best time with 15 and 19 year olds. Our guide was exceptional and the itinerary was varied and imaginative. Everything went smoothly with transport and accommodation was perfect. An absolutely fabulous trip for active family who want to see it all!

Well paced trip that covers highlights of Vietnam. Even time spent on buses to cover the large distances was entertaining, viewing lovely countryside and people going about their lives. Trip doesn't just do the big city tourist attractions but gets you out into the highlands to see more rural life.

This was an excellent trip both from the activities organised and the cultural insights, mainly from our guides. We were very well looked after and enjoyed a reasonable standard of accommodation and some very good food. I would suggest a change from the catfish curry at the floating village of Mechrey. Most of our group declined to try it given its provenance from a fairly contaminated river source.
We all enjoyed our bike ride around the temples of Angkor Wat - a real highlight.
I’d also like to make special mention of our first Laotian guide - Souk - who excelled in his role keeping us safe, informed and entertained.

The itinerary was nicely balanced. It included the main sights in the places visited along with down time to rest and refresh. If keeping busy was more to your liking, there were many excellent optional tours.
The coach was comfortable and kept clean.
Loved the hotels. The Galleria 10 in Bangkok was in an excellent location, within walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores, and the sky train. Their 2 for 1 daily Happy Hour was a nice way to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. Thoroughly enjoyed the other hotels which also offered pools for relaxation - in Kanchanaburi, Sukhothai, Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. The hotel in Kanchanaburi was within walking distance of the famous Bridge over the river Kwai which was a bonus. The hotel in Chiang Rai was within walking distance to additonal sights not included in the tour as well as to excellent restaurants. All the hotels offered a good selection of options for daily breakfast as well as for the included dinners.
