At 8:00 am or 2:00 pm a local guide will meet you at the hotel's lobby. Head out with the guide to bicycle to a lantern making workshop in the village. Here, you will get a brief introduction to the history, shape, and color of the lanterns. Choose your favorite sample of a lantern and with step-by-step help from the craftsman, make one for yourself to give as a gift or keep for a souvenir. Ride your bicycle back to the hotel.
