At either 8am or 12:30pm your private tour guide and car will pick you up from your hotel and take you North West to the Cu Chi Tunnels which are 70kms away. This is an area where Vietnamese people proudly held their ground during the Vietnam war (in Vietnam it is known as The American War). Over 200kms of underground tunnels were made, the trip will help you understand the struggle the Vietnamese would have gone through on the frontline. It took an enormous amount of ingenuity, courage and imagination to match the enemy and these tunnels were a big part of the Vietnam War and ended being a resounding victory for the Cu Chi people.
The tunnel system, fortifications and trenches were a part of a soldiers life, you will see how they lived, the kitchens, store rooms, hospital, living quarters. You can crawl around parts of the tunnel yourself and watch a video of the history of the Vietnam War in this area.
We will then take you back to your hotel.
At 7:30 am your tour guide will collect you early in the morning and depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels(70 km). The Cu Chi Tunnels is a site revealing some of the most intense battles during the Vietnam War. You will have the chance to explore the underground base of the resistance fighters and see the intricate network of over 124mi (200km) of the tunnels.
After the tunnels, we will head back to Ho Chi Minh City where we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we will proceed to enjoy visits of the Old Colonial Residential Quarter, the Hotel De Ville, the Opera House, the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral, the General Post Office, the historical Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum and Ben Thanh Market.
In the afternoon you will be taken back to your hotel where the tour ends at approximately 5:30pm.

ITINERARY:
07:30 AM: Depart for Cai Be by van/bus via Trung Luong Expressway.
Upon arrival in Cai Be, have a boat ride to the remaining site of a renowned wholesale floating market on the Tien River many years ago. This site entitles you to know something about the local trading habit that has changed due to the age of the modern society when more terrestrial transportation and high technique of agriculture have dominated everywhere. There, you can realize how diverse the area is and how rich orchard gardens are, which makes it the basket of fruit in the lower part of the Mekong River.
Ramble in small villages where you will uncover the beauty of an ancient house and learn about the indigenous culture. Make a short visit to a small family business where the locals make coconut fudges and crispy rice popcorn. Savor delicious fresh fruit and feel the slow rhythms of Southern Vietnamese folk music – a kind of music entwined with the life and culture of the Mekong Delta people. Paddle through small canals – an exciting experience since you can look around, unwind, and soak up the wonderful atmosphere of the Upper Mekong Delta. Additionally, after arrival on Tan Phong Island, immerse yourself in nature's tranquility.
At lunch time, you not only enjoy luscious food but also get closer to the locals as it is a chance to learn how to prepare Vietnamese specialties. The meal is cooked on your own and served in the heart of the local garden.
Cycle on the village path through orchards. Meet the local islanders to learn more about the local
daily life in the Mekong Delta. Visit Ba Kiệt’s ancient house.
Take a boat ride back to Cai Be and meet your bus for the trip back to Ho Chi Minh City. End your

The Reunification Palace - on April 30th, 1975, what the Vietnamese refer to as the 'American War' officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was, at the time, the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam
War Remnants Museum - formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes is a poignant display of the futility of war. Some of the black and white photography in the 'Requiem' exhibit is particularly touching and is dedicated to both foreign and Vietnamese journalists and photographers who perished during the conflict.
Notre Dam Cathedral and General Post Office were built around 1877 and 1883 respectively. These two iconic buildings are fine examples of French colonial architecture. Remarkably every stone used in the building of the Notre Dam Cathedral was shipped from France to Vietnam. The Old Post Office is also the country's largest post office.
The Opera House, after the lunch at local restaurant, we take you to see Chinatown and the Chinese market Binh Tay. We then move on to Thien Hau Pagoda, a temple entered through an iron gate and crossing a small courtyard. The roof is decorated with delicately fashioned porcelain figurines expressing themes from Chinese religion and legends. Lanterns and wooden models of Chinese theaters hang over the entrance. Our final stop before taking you back to your hotel is Ben Thanh Market, one of Vietnams largest markets and a real heart beat of Ho Chi Minh culture.

After being picked up from your hotel in the morning at 8:00AM, you will go on a visit to Can Gio Ecologic Area Excursions (Monkey Island)
Next, enjoy a visit to Monkey Island followed by Can Gio Museum and Mangrove Forest Park. Here you'll see a range of fauna like crocodiles farm - where you can gaze into different sorts of crocodile and get to know about their habits. Especially, this place brings you an opportunity to challenge yourself to an adventure game: feeding the crocodiles then visit wild monkeys.
Next, hop on a canoe and visit the Mangrove Forest Ecosystem and Rung Sac Guerilla Base. Here you'll enjoy lunch at Carrot Restaurant and visit Ong Thuy Tuong Royal Tomb and Can Thanh Market.
From here, you'll head back the hotel where the tour will finish at about 4:30pm
This morning, 8:30AM - your tour guide and private car will pick you up at your hotel and depart for My Tho City, the Capital of Tien Giang (Front River) province. Once here, you'll take a boat ride over to Unicorn Island, one of the four lucky islands.
On this island you will see daily activities of the local people along tributaries of river and enjoy some typical produces of the Mekong Delta such as tropical candies, fresh fruits (depend on the season) and enjoy folk song.
Next, enjoy a ride on hand–rowing sampans that will take you along the small canals. Next, you will be taken in a horse-drawn carriage to the village’ s roads and taken to a local restaurant where you will enjoy a delicious lunch of local specialties like Tai Tuong fried fish, spring rolls, and fresh shrimp.
After lunch, Head back the land and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. From here, you'll head back the hotel where the tour will finish at about 4:30pm

Nearby is the General Post Office, yet another stellar example of French colonial architecture that was built in 1883. This post office is also the largest such office in the country. Take a trip to the Ngoc Hoang (Jade Emperor) Pagoda next. The pagoda is famous for its dozens of cardboard statues depicts various genies.
Your final destination is the Bến Thành Market, a bustling centre of trade located in District 1, in central Hồ Chí Minh City. Apart from being a centre of trade in the city, this market is widely regarded as one of the earliest surviving such structure in the whole of Saigon.
Transfer back to your hotel after the tour is over. The tour has departure times in the morning as well as in the afternoon ( 8.00 am and 12:30 pm).
17:45 - Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel, enjoy the views of the city as you make your way to the water puppet show. The shows tells the story of the Vietnamese folklore of the Vietnamese people as one of the high lights of Vietnamese arts. (Shows are performed entirely in Vietnamese which is not a problem for the visiting tourist as the puppet gestures are obvious enough to keep the audience enthralled. The musicians are often positioned to one side of the stage adding in sound effects and songs as the people-styled puppets, dragons, fairies and other ornamental figures dance across the stage).
After the show, you will be taken to the cruise dock where you will board a cruise on the Saigon River. When onboard you will be enjoying a delicious dinner and see Saigon by night.
Once dinner is finished you will disembark the cruise and be taken back to your hotel where your tour concludes at. approximately 10pm.
In the afternoon at 17:30 your guide will pick you up from your centrally located Ho Chi Minh City hotel. You will ride in a cyclo, the typical pedi-cabs of the city. On this tour you will discover the history and culture of this bustling city as you pass by the History Museum, Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House, Dong Khoi street, Nguyen Hue Street.
Next, we will head to Nha Rong harbor where you'll board your boat. Afterwards, you will be able to sit back and relax as you cruise along Saigon River while enjoying great views on a delicious dinner.
When the cruise finally reaches the dock again your guide will take you back to your hotel, where your tour ends at approximately 10pm.
