I had an amazing time on this trip! G Adventures continues to impress me, and I’ll keep recommending them to all my friends. I did the Merida to Yucatan tour back in 2023, and after just completing the Mexico City to Puerto Escondido leg, I honestly wish I had enough time off to do the entire route in one go. I was very happy with my week on the MEC at Mt Cook.I can find no fault at all in the 5 days experience, even the weather played the game by raining at the start when we did classroom stuff. Then the flight up to the tarn to camp and play and learn. Our guide was the best. He knew the terrain, kept us informed and most importantly was very experienced. The itinerary was excellent. Timing at each island was just right. The Twin Fin hotel on Oahu was a bit dated but clean and good location. Our tour director was outstanding. He was knowledgeable about each island, provided a daily handout detailing timeline and suggestions on clothing for the excursions.

Wow - this was a challenging hike! Not so much the terrain, definitely due to the hot weather. Putting the heat, sweat and fatigue to one side - this hike is unique and rewarding. Along the route there is lots to see and the destination is mind blowing! Our team (Stiwen, Brayan & Pinnochio) were attentive and did everything possible to make this a safe & memorable trip. The side journeys on this itinerary were all worthwhile and enjoyable. It was just the two of us for the duration of this trip and at all times we felt safe and everything ran without a hitch.

The rooms were a bit small, but they were clean and cozy. Some in our group didn't love the hotels, but I found them quite comfortable. The transport vehicles were new and comfortable as well. The tour was so meticulously planned.Camile was an incredibly professional and warm guide, and Pierre was a careful driver.
