Cologne to Mainz trip Excellent director, Julia, made everything easy. Right level of support. Food excellent and abundant. Area beautiful, cycling relatively easy.
Oh my word, fantastic. Great bikes, super luggage service, accommodation superior to my expectations given we were cyclists with the potential to turn up muddy and wet. So safe, cycle routes and paths. Beautiful scenery, very friendly locals, brilliant breakfasts too. My experience of continental breakfasts did not prepare me for the quality and level of choices. Kate kept me fully informed. Nothing was complicated. I took this holiday as a gamble, having not done anything like it before or even considered it; will definitely look to their other options. The perfect weather was a bonus

An introductory cycle trip to encounter castles, Roman ruins, medieval towns and a rich wine making tradition on this bike and barge journey along the Rhine River. The Rhine River flows from high in the Swiss Alps through five countries and the majestic Lake Constance, to reach a vast delta in the Netherlands. This relaxed pace cycle based on board the MS Olympia includes some of the most beautiful sections of the river between Koblenz and Worms. Starting in either Koblenz, located at the meeting point of the Rhine and Moselle rivers or Mainz with its half timbered houses, take in the classic scenery as you gently pedal past majestic vineyards and mystic castle ruins. The German Danube cycle tour is a great way to visit the German countryside. The bike tracks are very safe, sometimes sealed and sometimes gravel, but never difficult to ride on. The accommodation was excellent, as were the meals provided. The bikes and guide documentation were all first class. Note it does take a little while to learn to read the maps properly, but no issues. Would recommend to anyone looking for a slightly longer tour.

A spectacular cycle through four countries from the Grisons in Switzerland to Lake Constance in Germany. The Grisons, or Graubünden as it is referred to by the Swiss, is considered by many to be Switzerland's most beautiful region with its multitude of lakes, valleys and snow capped mountain peaks. The Rhine river has its source in the Grisons, connecting the mountains to Lake Constance over 100km away. Travelling alongside the Rhine and Lake Constance, this diverse cycle adventure from Switzerland, passes through Liechtenstein and Austria before returning to Constance in Germany. The relaxed itinerary offers the flexibility to explore the gorges of the Grissons on foot, cycle to winegrowers villages to sample the local specialties, visit the Museum of Art in Liechtenstein, and climb up to a castle for a picture postcard view.
The boat was lovely, the crew was fantastic, the city days were busy, and the bike routes went through varied terrain and were just the right length daily. We had a great trip!
