Waterfalls cascade down into the valleys, below the mountains you will find rivers winding their way along the valley floors towards the Adriatic Sea. The site of some major battles in World War I, you will walk along parts of the famous 'Walk of Peace' which is dedicated to the memory of the multitude of casualties of World War I.Starting in Bovec you can enjoy the blooming colourful meadows, awakening life in spring and summer, and the softness of winds, calm and peacefulness of nature in autumn. The lowland features forest, blue-green rivers and streams, magnificent waterfalls and gorges enriched with old homesteads and friendly Slovenes.
Our second centre, Ribcev Laz, is on the shores of Lake Bohinj from where you will wander around the lake, through forests and wildflower meadows, past waterfalls and explore charming hamlets adorned with half-timbered houses, stone bridges, and historic churches.
Ascend Mount Ararat (5137m), considered to be the resting place of Noah's Ark. Agri Dag, or Ararat as it is known in the west, reaches a height of 5137m. Tucked away near the borders of Iran and Armenia, Turkey's highest mountain is considered to be the place where Noah's Ark came to rest after the Great Flood. Proof of that is rather elusive but trekking to the summit is more realistic. This spectacular, permanently glacier-capped mountain is a great one week challenge for the seasoned walker. Our fully supported trek with experienced, licensed mountain guides will ensure your adventure will be memorable. Weather permitting there are fabulous views towards Armenia, Georgia and the high Caucasus Mountains, home to Mt Elbrus (5642m).

Walking high in the mountains on the Bernese Highlights West offers a more challenging route than the Bernese Highlights East. Amazing views are the reward for your efforts and at every turn in the way you will be greeted by some of the most dramatic mountain scenery to be found in Switzerland - if not the whole of Europe. However, if you wish to opt out of any day's walk or should inclement weather descend, it is possible to travel between all overnight stops by public transport.
Starting in perhaps the most beautiful village in the Bernese Oberland, perched high up above the Lauterbrunnen Valley is Murren. Above Murren rises the great peak of the Schilthorn, with its revolving restaurant made famous by James Bond. Walk up and over the high pass of Sefinenfurgge and continue to the remote valley of Griesalp, set against the backdrop of the Bluemlisalp massif. Continue through the Hohturli pass where views are utterly magnificent! Get up close to a number of glaciers in addition to the turquoise waters of Lake Oeschinensee in its stunning setting above Kandersteg. Set within the beautiful Kander valley, Kandersteg is home to an extraordinary amount of diverse Alpine flowers. Follow stunning mountain paths with incredible panoramic views before descending into the mountain village of Adelboden for the night. Another mountain pass awaits you as you head over to Lenk across scenic alpine meadows. Finally, you cross Trutlisbergpass, then down the valley to Gstaad, which despite being known for its prestige has remained truly Alpine.

Your last days walking offers unparalleled views of the Eiger and its infamous North Face, before ending the walk in the relaxed atmosphere of the car-free village Murren.

Walk among the vineyards and terraced hillsides where Champagne villages, chateaux, and churches are nestled. Enjoy panoramic viewpoints overlooking the vineyards and picturesque villages. The winemakers' open their doors to you, for tastings and tours of the cellars. They will passionately explain their know-how while showing you around their property.

Early morning pick up from city hotels and transfer to airport in Istanbul for flight to Cappadocia. Meeting at Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport and transfer to Cappadocia to meet with the group and guide.
Walk through the “Fairy Chimneys” in Devrent Valley, Paşabağ (Monks’) Valley, practice pottery production with the ancient technique in Avanos. Visit to Göreme, the "open-air museum“ holding the earliest churches and chapels carved in fairy chimneys presenting finest examples of frescoes. Uçhisar Castle, the highest point in the region.
Lunch will be served during the tour.
Evening transfer to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport for flight back to Istanbul.
