I had an amazing trip. Everything went really well. It was great getting my luggage transported each day to the next hotel/accommodation. After hours of walking each day knowing I had accommodation booked was comforting. The meals were great. I would recommend going through these guys for your Camino experience.
Embark on an express journey from Romania to Bulgaria, finishing in Istanbul. Absorb Bucharest’s atmosphere on a guided walking tour, compare age-old places of worship in Sofia and breathe in crisp alpine air on a hike in the Pirin Mountains. Meander back in time in the Old Town of Plovdiv, see Veliko Tarnovo's imposing Tsarevets Fortress and learn about the distillation process and history of rose oil production at a family rose distillery in Sofia. This 10-day trip is a fascinating insight into just how much regions can change as you cross national borders!
Loved the scenery, company, tour guide. I've learnt a lot and appreciate a good knowledgeable guide. I enjoyed every minute of the tour. A activity day 1 like a thermal pool would have been a great ice breaker.
The trip had a really good balance of activities, with plently to do while still leaving you time to relax and chill out. Tuscany is so beautiful and Fattoria Voltrona was a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend this trip to my friends.
For anyone interested in serious walking/trekking, the Tour du Mont Blanc is, indeed, a classic and should be on your list. It is full of variety, contrasts, lovely places to stay and Exodus does it very well.
We really loved our Coastal Camino walk. It was beautiful to walk through lots of historic towns and visit many beautiful beaches on the first few stops. The hotels were all good and the one in Lestrove and sensational. The only day which we found tough was walking into Vigo on a very hot day as it seemed like many streets of industrial/suburban walking the last 5 km. Overall a wonderful experience and wish we had done 14 days instead of 12!
