The tour was great. Our guide Nadir was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The team was flexible and accommodating throughout the tour. Before booking, you should know that since they organize tours of different lengths from different sites, it will be easy for them to extend your stay if you want. The only downside was that on my trip the tour started and stopped on different days for different people. The hotels were good but not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Even so, I fully recommend this tour.
If you are ready to be captivated by a week-long journey that will encompass mountains, glaciers and deep coastal fjords, then this tour is for you! As you enter the gateway of Fjords, Bergen, you will witness the ideal combination of nature, culture, and exciting urban life. Pass through the most emblematic places and experience food tasting in the fish market. You will, then, embark on a journey to enjoy the views of Sognefjord, the King of Fjords, and its glaciers. Your sightseeing journey will continue as you will experience a cruise and train ride from Balestrand to Oslo which offers so many viewpoints from travelling multiple times between the mountain and the fjord. Upon arrival, you will explore the vibrant city of Oslo, including Frogner Park, the Museum of Viking Ships, the Royal Palace, City Hall, and Akershus Fortress. If your time permits, you can still enjoy some last-minute shopping and café or bar hopping at the main Karl Johan’s Street before your tour of Norway comes to an end!

We had a spectacular trip. We did a self-guided trip in Piemonte and Tuscany/Umbria. The hotels were much nicer than we expected. Very comfortable and the owners/proprietors were so helpful. The transfer of luggage each day was seamless!
The routes were generally well marked and the app was very good. We didn't need anything more than the app. Only got lost twice which I'd say is pretty good. The routes were a bit more challenging than we expected. We choose two hikes which were marked as 'Introductory - Moderate' which were tougher than we expected. So just pay attention to this. At home, we would consider ourselves quite capable of moderate+ trails, but the classification in Italy is a bit more demanding.
Glad we wore hiking pants as we went through a lot of grasses so never had a concern about tics. Also were very happy we had hiking sticks with us. Invaluable on many of the trails.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering a hiking trip. And absolutely no problem doing the self-guided version.
Thank you!!

Other than the ease of the entire trip, our fantastic guide Rafael, the amazing locations and itinerary, the five star nightly accommodations, … the best part was being able to spend the trip with my son without a worry as everything was done for us.
I, however, need to elaborate a little about our guide. Rafael had to speak 4 different languages on our trip and he was always making certain everyone on the bus was addressed correctly and all their questions were answered. He was alarmed when a guest went missing and worked feverishly to locate her without interrupting the rest of our tour day. He also was extremely pleasant to deal with and I plan on arranging my next tour wherever he is scheduled to be on. Thank you for the trip of my life.
