This tour takes you to South Iceland travelling through lush farmlands with views of powerful volcanoes, glaciers and thundering waterfalls.
First in a series of natural landmarks is Skógafoss waterfall, arguably the country‘s most iconic waterfall and one of South Iceland‘s star attractions. Viking legends tell of a treasure buried in a cave behind the waterfall.
From Skógafoss, you travel east to Sólheimajökull glacier for a 1-hour easy walk in a spellbinding glacier landscape. The combination of expansive views, jagged peaks, cool blue glaciers and wide-open sky provide a steady stream of amazing photographic opportunities.
Heading back to Reykjavik from Sólheimajökull is the iconic Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can literally walk behind a curtain of water — certainly a moment you’ll want to capture on camera.
The Amalfi coast is gorgeous. If you like scenic views and delicious food, it's a must. Expect to get lots of steps in, as there are many opportunities for active travelers. Our CEO Shallal was the best guide, and even helped to coordinate an optional excursion to Capri (a must-see in my opinion) on a private boat. I came in a day early to hike up Mt. Vesuvius (not included, but I'd recommend if you have extra time before or after). A fun trip for this solo traveler!

I had an exceptional, once-in-a-lifetime and unique experience on the G Adventures Walking in the Greek Islands tour. I loved the experience of not being the 'Chief Experience Officer' of the holiday for once, and was truely able to relax and enjoy myself. I was excited to experience Greece & loved the variety of what the trip offered. Athens history, city area- sunsets, Island hopping , time on & in the water at beaches and off boats, wine tours, food & hiking ! Some of my favorite things. This new Geluxe style of traveling was exceptional!! It packed so many activities and excursions during the entire trip! I active hiking along the way was a nice bonus to not only see the beautiful countryside and villages but to earn our multiple wine tastings and delicious food. And what a great way to cap off the trip with a Vespa ride through Rome. This was definitely a highlight! Our CEO Barbara made this trip so memorable with her keen attention to detail, her endless knowledge of the area and her warm spirit! This was our 6th Gadventure trip and Barbara was the best CEO we've ever had!!
