We enjoyed our week on the Dingle Peninsula hike. Each day provided a different experience. Accommodation while basic was full of character. Some challenging days but a great sense of satisfaction once completed. Loved the views.
Our bicycling trip (Passau to Vienna) was a wonderful family adventure for myself, my husband, and our adult son and daughter (ages 28 and 26). Everything was extremely well-organized by the tour operator, and the staff there quickly responded to any questions or issues that arose, both before our travels and during. We had some difficulty locating the place where we were to pick up the bikes despite following the instructions provided, and few people in the area seemed to know of them. We eventually found it, but as it was raining hard, we were all somewhat sleep-deprived, and the distance from our hotel was longer than we had expected with only major roads on which to travel, we asked the bike rental company for a ride back to our hotel, which they did for 60 Euros. That process felt more stressful than necessary, but once we started out the next morning from Passau, everything was perfect. We loved biking along the Danube - the paths are well marked, the scenery is stunning, and the information provided by the operator was extremely useful. We would definitely book again with this operator and look forward to our next adventure!

Hiking in Delphi and Meteora was nothing short of magical. Our stay in Meteora was a highlight, just minutes from the trails to the suspended monasteries. Breakfast with a stellar view of Meteora’s surreal rock formations was truly unforgettable.
Follow old trails through ancient hamlets and past impressive castles on the Francigena Way, the Italian Camino, between Ivrea and Pavia. From Canterbury in England to Rome in Italy, the 1900km "Francigena Way" dates back to the 11th century when pilgrims travelled across Europe on foot to visit the site of Martyrdom of St Peter and St Paul in Rome. With the modernisation of Europe and the shifting of borders the route became obsolete, until a recent revival of the pilgrimage making it one of the most exciting pilgrimage trails in Europe today. This section travels through the plains of Piedmont. From March to May the rice fields are flooded and treat you to a wonderful view of the "chequered sea". At other times of the year you will spot herons and egrets. The trail continues into the Lombardy region before ending in Pavia. Here you can enjoy the artistic wealth of Pavia's old town, while reveling in the vivacity of the student quarters.

Our self-guided walk through the Dolomites was an unforgettable experience. Cross the rolling hills of the Tarn et Garonne region between the historic towns of Cahors and Lectoure. Traverse the centuries of time and the borders of Europe on the medieval pilgrim trail. In the 9th century, the tomb of the apostle St James was unearthed in Compostela. The site became the focus of a pilgrim trail beginning in France, and crossing northern Spain to Santiago de Compostela. This journey, along the Via Podensis, the French Way of St James, takes pilgrims from Le Puy en Velay to the Pyrenees at St Jean Pied de Port. The route passes a multitude of churches and monasteries, resembling a travelling museum of Romanesque art. Six stages of this historic trail are included in our self-guided walking program in France.
This part of the journey takes you across limestone plateaus cut by small valleys, then on to the plain of the Garonne. The trail is lined with ancient stone walls. After Moissac the landscape changes to rolling hills and lush valleys where fields of corn and sunflower are intermingled with plum orchards.

Enjoyed a fantastic trip in Austria. The waymarks on the track were very good, the accommodation was comfortable and the hosts at the accommodation were excellent and very helpful, especially Jeff from Jeff's in Goisern. Also, the luggage always arrived as planned. A wonderful trip and very scenic walk.
