This combination tour is perfect for visitors to La Fortuna who want to do it all but have limited time. With this one-day tour, you can visit the most important attractions in the area.
The incredible Arenal Volcano is not to be missed, so we start the adventure at the Arenal Volcano National Park to hike a 4 km (2.5 miles) trail called “Lava Slides of 1992” which will take us as close to the mighty Arenal as possible, without risking your safety. From there, if the skies are clear, the views of Arenal Lake, the forest, and the areas devastated by previous eruptions will be impressive.
At around 11:30, we will arrive at the second place of interest, La Fortuna Waterfall, famous for its height of 70 meters (230 feet). There you can take a refreshing swim in the cool waters or take pictures of its beauty. Afterwards, at around 1:00 pm we will stop at a restaurant near downtown La Fortuna for a delicious a la carte lunch with 5 options to choose from.
Later, at 2:30 pm, we will head to the Arenal Hanging Bridges, to hike a 3.1 km (1.92 miles) trail circuit high above the tree canopy, and across a circuit of 15 impressive hanging and stationary bridges trying to spot the local wildlife.
At the end of this full-day tour, we’ll drive you back to your hotel.

This tour of Vietnam covers much of what is a diverse and interesting about the north of the country. Starting in Hanaoi, the capital, we have included Sapa for its trekking and minority villages, Ninh Binh region for its limestone peaks which rival those of Halong Bay and of course time exploring spectacular Halong Bay itself.
Your itinerary begins with a city tour of Hanoi before taking the overnight train to Lao Cai and the trekking area of Sapa. We then return to Lao Cai for the overnight train back to Hanoi for an early breakfast at the hotel before having the rest of the day free to explore this city. After a night back in Hanoi we travel to Hoa Lu, famous for being the country's capital from 968 and 1009 AD. There is no greater attraction in the Northern region of Costa Rica than the Arenal Volcano. So why not enjoy it in the most picturesque way possible? This tour combines an attractive boat ride on Arenal Lake followed by a hike through the national park where the volcano is located and provides you with impressive views of this natural wonder.
The tour begins with a short, 20-minute ride to the peninsula sector of Arenal Volcano National Park near Arenal Lake. Walk around 1.5km (nearly 1 mile) through a trail in the national park.
During the whole trip, you will be able to enjoy excellent views of Arenal Lake and the Tilaran Volcanic Mountains from different observation bays that are along the trail. At the end of the trail, you will have the opportunity to climb to an observation platform approximately 10m high to take a closer look at the volcano. Learn more about the history, activities and geological formation of this colossal natural wonder.
Enjoy a fresh, tropical fruit buffet lunch at the end of your trail before taking a boat for a ride along the edges of Arenal Lake. See the surrounding rainforest, islands, aquatic birds and animals that call this area their home. This is the best possible place to take incredible pictures of the Arenal Volcano, if the weather permits. After 45 minutes on the boat, head for the lake's boat station.
