Just completed 21 days Europe : East to West with 13 other friends. An awesome trip. A little hectic, with lots of walking; however fully worth the walks and the money. On the way to Barcelona, you will go on a guided tour to the Monastery of Poblet, located in northeastern Spain, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the world. In Barcelona, tour the city and discover the iconic Ras Ramblas Street. Your tour continues with driving in the region of Provence to arrive in the charming town of Chamberry. Continue to Switzerland and enjoy beautiful lakes and mountains with snowcapped peaks on your way to Zurich. Your journey continues in Rome, the ancient Capital of Italy, and get to know about its history on a panoramic tour and in the Trastevere area. We did the Prague and Germany tour, and it was a great experience. We had Matheus Vegele as our guide and he was quite entertaining. He managed to make history actually interesting, but more importantly he added the context to the places and buildings that we were looking at -- which made it that much more pleasant. We ended our trip at the Don Giovanni hotel, which was a great way to end the trip by far my favorite hotel

We saw a lot on the trip. The itinerary gave a good taste of Prague, Germany and Amsterdam. This gave us an idea of where we would like to return for a longer visit. Our guide and driver were excellent and the bus was new, so very comfortable. Unfortunately, we had a large, loud group on board who did not feel the need to listen to the guide. This made it difficult for others to hear her and get the information she was giving us throughout the tour. The hotels were located a long way from the tourist areas so did not make it easy to get around on your own if you chose to do so. The hotels, while not 5 star, were very clean and had decent amenities. We only had breakfast and they were pretty good, some better than others.
