This is a 2 days safari where we will both explore the Ngorongoro Convervation area and the Lake Manyara National Park.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area spans vast expanses of highland plains, savanna, savanna woodlands and forests. Established in 1959 as a multiple land use area, with wildlife coexisting with semi-nomadic Maasai pastoralists practicing traditional livestock grazing, it includes the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera. The property has global importance for biodiversity conservation due to the presence of globally threatened species, the density of wildlife inhabiting the area, and the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles and other animals into the northern plains. Extensive archaeological research has also yielded a long sequence of evidence of human evolution and human-environment dynamics, including early hominid footprints dating back 3.6 million years.
Lake Manyara National Park is known for the flamingos that inhabit the lake. During the wet season they inhabit the edges of the lake in flocks of thousands but they are not so present during the dry season.
More than 400 species of birds inhabit the park and many remain throughout the year. Because of this Lake Manyara National Park is a good spot for bird watching. Visitors to the park can expect to see upwards of 100 different species of bird on any day.[2]
Leopards, lions, cheetahs, elephants, blue monkeys, dik-dik, gazelle, hippo, giraffe, impala, and more inhabit Lake Manyara Park and many can be seen throughout the year. There is a hippo pond at one end of the park where visitors can get out of their cars and observe from a safe distance. The leopards and lions are both known to lounge in the trees while not hunting for prey.
In short, this is a 2 days safari where you will experience magnificent wild life animals and nature at its best. For more details, please refer to the itinerary tab.

The view from top was stunning and the game drive within the crater area was breathtaking. One of the highlights is for sure the black rhinos, and we saw in total eight, although from certain distance. Amazing experience!
This is a short yet well-planned fully guided safari that introduces you to Amboseli National Park dubbed the Kilimanjaro Royal Court.
The national park is famous for its herds of elephants that graze against the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. This is also one of the few places that offers breathtaking views of Africa’s highest mountain. In this two-day fully guided tour, you can look forward to the encounters with African elephants, lions, cheetahs and wild buffalos.
The park is also home to zebras, wildebeests, waterbucks, crocodiles, hippos, warthogs, hyenas, giraffes and a good number of bird species.
This is an ideal trip for mountain bikers looking for a challenge or any avid cyclists wishing to cycle on Mt. Kilimanjaro. Primates can be seen while cycling through the forest zone and larger game animals can be seen on the heath and moorland zone. On a clear day, you will witness breathtaking views of Kibo peak as you cycle towards the helipad.
At 7:00 am you will be picked-up from your hotel in Moshi and taken to the Londorossi Gate on the western side of Mt. Kilimanjaro, where your tour begins. First, you will cycle through the forest zone followed by the heather and moorland zone as you head towards the helipad on the Shira Plateau. Snap some photos here before turning back and enjoying the relaxing downhill ride back to Londorossi Gate where your tour ends.
You will then be picked up and transferred back to your hotel in Moshi.

Join us for this full-day trip to the spectacular Tarangire National Park to experience the beautiful landscape and wildlife of Tanzania. This park is one of Africa’s little-known gems and should be on the itinerary of all lovers of wilderness and solitude.
At 2,600km², Tarangire is far from being the biggest of the Tanzanian parks, but its unrivaled landscape of open plains, dotted with thousands of baobabs, is unforgettable. At about 120kms south of Arusha, Tarangire is known for its tree-climbing lions and for its very big herds of buffalo. The game numbers are staggering and include 30,000 zebra, 25,000 wildebeest, 5,000 buffalo, 3,000 elephants, 2,500 Maasai giraffe,s and over 1,000 fringe-eared oryx. Predators include lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Birders will want to look out for the endemic ashy starling, Rufous-tailed Weaver, and Black-collared lovebird.
At 8 am we depart from Arusha town to Tarangire National Park. The tour ends back in Arusha at around 5 pm. Lunch is included.
Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania's finest gems, stretching more than 30 miles (50 km) along the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Explore this natural beauty, a great spot for bird watching and home to a large diversity of wildlife, with the help of your expert guide.
Wind your way through an expanse of lush, jungle-like groundwater forest, looking out the window to spot large troops of baboons that frequently lounge along the roadside, or blue monkeys scampering nimbly through the ancient mahogany trees.
Arrive at the grassy floodplain, contrasting starkly with the intimacy of the forest, with expansive views eastward across the alkaline lake to the jagged blue volcanic peaks rising from the endless Maasai Steppes. See the large buffalo, wildebeest, and zebra herds congregating on the grassy plains. Continue exploring, maybe spot a lion or leopard, and follow your guide for a photo at the hippos before pausing for lunch.
Spend the day in Tarangire National Park, the famous park where Earnest Hemmingway often went on big game hunting safaris. Thankfully, today cameras have replaced the big hunting guns, and you can enjoy the seasonal marshes, endless savannah and beauty of the African wildlife without spoiling it.
The Tarangire National Park has the highest density of elephants in North Tanzania and you can view these animals all year round. The herds often reach an impressive number of 300 animals.
The Tarangire River in the park has water all year round and during the dry season, between July and October, many animals from the surrounding areas come to the river to drink. If you visit the park during the dry season, you will witness an unforgettable natural wonder as you can observe wonderful creatures such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests and zebras as well as various types of antelopes and gazelles. With a little luck, you can also spot a python! This area is during the dry season also a haven for bird watchers with over 550 different species including the Masai Ostrich -the world largest bird.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha drive the 2-3 hours to the park before we start the safari. Enjoy the morning spotting animals and taking in the scenery. Around lunchtime, we will stop at a suitable picnic place before dedicating the afternoon to more wildlife watching. Before sunset, you will be taken back to your hotel in Arusha.
Explore a true African forest reserve, which not only presents an abundance of nature, but also boasts of a number of unique tree species and allows you to take part in several cultural tourism activities.
On your walk, you will spot blue monkeys and black-and-white colobus monkeys and a number of bird species. Listen to stories and discover various uses of the different trees found in the area. See trees that are as old as 200 years. Visit the sacred tree Mvule (Milicia excelsa), believed to be 196 years old, a tree that is regularly visited by locals to pray (an act closely associated with superstitions).
Outside the forest, you can also enjoy a great view of rice plantations that are dotted with colorful water birds.
We chose this 2-day tour for a short weekend trip, and honestly it was much more than expected. On the first day I entered Tarangire National Park, I was overwhelmed to see huge elephant herds, zebras, giraffes, and lions. The guide explained to us all about the animals. On the second day, while descending to the Ngorongoro Crater, the whole scene is like a dream world - seeing black rhinos, lions, hippos, and innumerable gonos together is a truly amazing experience. Although time was limited, I didn't expect to see so much together. Perfect tour for those who want to taste Africa in a short time.

After breakfast you will be met by our professional tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari briefing, after which we travel west to the Great Rift Valley and the Lake Manyara National Park.
We will travel through the agricultural and fresh produce market town of Mto Wa Mbu, which is situated next to the entrance of the Lake Manyara National Park. The town is a souvenir hunters paradise, harbouring thousands of souvenir salesmen – ready to sell at your slightest invitation.
The Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located African wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.
Lake Manyara's varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s most densely populated herds of African elephants. Other wildlife attractions are Lake Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake.
On this full day tour we will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and do two exciting morning and afternoon game drives, in search of the tree-climbing lions. In the later afternoon we depart for Arusha from Lake Manyara where we will end our safari adventure.
It is recommended that the group should tip the tour guide around $20 for the day. You will be taken to your hotel, which also marks the end of our our services. We promise you a great safari day in Lake Manyara.
Day Trip to the Ngorongoro Crater from Arusha
In the morning at around 06.00 hrs, our representative shall pick you from your hotel or stay in Arusha town, and drive you and your packed lunch to the Ngorongoro Gate, located at a distance of 190 kms.
Drive on and descend into the crater floor with picnic lunches for a day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one the largest intact calderas in the world as well as one of the most spectacular sights in the whole of Africa.
It is among the best places to see the BIG FIVE (rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant) in a single day. Other animals found in the park include zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena and more… The common birds seen here include flamingos on the soda lake, geese, storks, vultures and more…
Your lunch will be served on the picnic site at Ngoitokok swamp, a Hippo pool. After lunch, proceed for your afternoon game viewing while ascending the Crater and drive back to Arusha.
