An absolutely fabntastic holiday, well planned and our guide just made this so enjoyable. I've never been on a holiday where I got to see so much - I enjoyed every minute of it and would recommend it to anyone who wishes to go and explore Peru.
The transport and most accommodations were outstanding. The guides were all EXCELLENT, especially Jhon Chales, who bent over backwards to help all of us while dealing with an extremely demanding and unreasonable person in our group.
I met some of the best characters on this group tour, friends for life and had some of the experiences and memories that will live with me forever. The 65 day tour of South America is fast moving and packs so much in. I can't recommend this tour enough. Well organized, amazing experience. Hiking was beautiful and the porters and staff were so hard working, they carried everything, set-up camp for us every day/night and allowed guests to immerse in the magic of the Incan culture and natural beauty unencumbered. Also - the food, which was cooked fresh every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious, healthy and made with care.
The 21 day adventure exceeded my expectations. It provided a wonderful introduction to the history and diversity of Peru’s culture. The hike to Machu Picchu was, in places, challenging but imminently doable. The tour leaders were knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and interesting people.
My desire to participate in another G Adventures tour is driven in large part by the quality of their tour leaders.
