Fabulous & remarkable trip! Jansen went above & beyond with his customer service & taking care of everyone’s special needs and requests. The itinerary was fantastic and the guides were marvelous. Dianna also did a great job and was very accommodating.
My only critique is that we should have been provided more information on the difficulties with using credit cards and ATM’s in China and the prevalent use of cash only. I have traveled to 55 countries & never had difficulty using credit cards & ATM’s until China. Most places wouldn’t take US Visa or Mastercard & ATM’s wouldn’t give me Chinses yen

This was the trip of a lifetime! The itinerary had the perfect mix of traditional and modern activities as well as gave sufficient free time to explore as a family. The CEO?s Kyoko & Tina were wonderful and felt like family by the end of the tour. The accommodations were superb and were in very convenient locations directly next to Local Train Stations. It was difficult to find a family vacation that met all our expectations, and this one has exceeded them! We can?t wait to book another National Geographic Vacation through G Adventures.

I absolutely loved this trip. We had a fabulous tour leader and a lovely group of 15 like-minded travellers broadly aged from 20’s to 70’s which really added to our experience. So many great memories packed into every day - from the overnight train to Chiang Mai, to swimming in waterfalls - all the time feeling safe and looked after. A wonderful holiday.
Great tour and great leader. Challenging underfoot conditions - rocky in places - but worth it. The accommodation and food at Gey Village House was poor but otherwise all the other accommodation and food was fine. Excellent boat trip at the end of the tour to round off a memorable holiday.
An amazing trip! The local guides were fantastic especially at Tikal. What a privilege to hear Manuel talk about Mayan culture and share his knowledge. Alonso was helpful, kept us informed of what was up for the next day, and made the trip easy so we could enjoy the sights (and sites).
