Moreover, you will enjoy scenes of Nubian life demonstrated with a range of life-size displays.
You will be dropped off at your hotel after the tour.
I highly recommend these tours with G Adventures. The CEOs are consistently amazing, the locations visited highlight the special nature of the areas, and a lot of thought is put into the itinerary. They are comfortable including accommodations and transportation. And I especially love visiting the Planeterra-supported organizations.

Enjoy a day tour in the amazing city of Aswan. Start your tour with a visit to the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 to protect Egypt from annual floods in the Nile.
Then proceed to visit the Unfinished Obelisk which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. Most probably this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th Dynasty and the royal wife of king Tuthmosis II. The queen was the owner of her Temple in the eastern bank of Luxor. There is also another theory that the obelisk belonged to Queen Nefertiti.
Next we move on to visit the majestic Philae Temple which was built in honor of Goddess Isis, the chief deity of the island.
Later you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Go for an interesting experience and visit some of the forgotten and unknown pyramids but still very amazing in two different historical sites. First up is the Pyramid at Meidum which is thought to originally have been built for Huni, the last pharaoh of the Third Dynasty, and was continued by Sneferu.
The architect was a successor to the famous Imhotep, the inventor of the stone built pyramid. Next up on the itinerary is are Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid at Dahshour. The area of Meidum is located 75 km south of Giza and it is one of the magical and forgotten places in Egypt. The unique design of the pyramid of medium is overwhelming.
It is believed that the pyramid was built by king Huni, the last pharaoh of the 3rd dynasty on the style of the step pyramid at Sakkara. It consists of 8 steps on top of each other. Some scholars believe the pyramid was completed by king Snefru, founder of 4th dynasty. There are several Mastaba tombs where the beautiful statues of Ra Hotep and Nefrt were found and another Mastaba where the famous painting of medium geese was found.
Meidum actually is one of the sites that still keeps a lot of secrets. The Red Pyramid is the first true pyramid of the world dating back to 2650 B.C.you will have the opportunity to enter the red pyramid and get the chance to see the three annexed chambers. The Bent Pyramid is equally unique, impressive and weird, perhaps all at once.
You will also have the option to click amazing photos of these pyramids. At the end of this tour, you will head back to your hotel.
At 10:00 am Pickup from your Hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor by our guide.
Then you will be transferred by private A/C vehicle to the East Bank where you will visit Karnak Temple. Karnak is the greatest example of worship dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. We spend around 3 hours here.
We continue our day tour by visiting the Temple of Luxor. It was built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty.
These ancient sites depict a part of history that would have been completely forgotten had these temples not been around to remind us of the history of civilization.
Later you will be driven back to your hotel in Luxor or to the Luxor airport.
In this day tour, we will be visiting the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Valley Temple.
We will pick you up from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza to start your half day tour. We will start with the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos.

You can take amazing pictures with The Sphinx. Our guide will help you with this.
