Come explore Budapest's nightlife with our Original Budapest Pub Crawl. Starting with a one-hour, all-you-can-drink beer and wine session, our guides will take you to the best bars and clubs in town. From Budapest's famous ruin pubs, which utilize old, abandoned buildings in the city, to multi-level clubs, there's always something for everyone.
Need to know the best place to go? Don't worry, we've it covered! This guided nightlife tour meets every night at Wombat's Hostel, where you'll get to know your guide and other participants. From there, your guide will take you to our ever-so-popular power hour and then off into the depths of Budapest's party district.
Did we mention there's a free shot at every stop? Yes, you heard it right. But the pub crawl does not end there. After enjoying the best drinks on offer, you will head for the city's most famous clubs with VIP entry.
Budapest, especially Pest has never been homogeneous – thinking of the all ethnic groups and the architecture. During the Habsburg times, there were more German-speaking inhabitants living in today’s downtown than Hungarians, let alone other nationalities. Later on the ratio changed, but all these different eras left their mark on the buildings. In one street you can see Classical, Art- Nouveau, Socialist style as well we few modern buildings. But buildings here are not made of stones, they are made of STORIES and formed by PEOPLE.
Sights included in this tour are:
St Stephen’s Basilica (interior + dome)
Parliament building (outside)
Opera house (outside and hall)
Andrassy avenue
House of Terror (outside)
Academy of Music
Heroes’ Square
Széchenyi bath
City Park
Danube bank
Shoe Memorial
Market Halls
Hungarian House of Photography
Hungarian House of Art Nouveau

Highlights of Bohemia has been my dream trip since 2019 (as my initial booking was cancelled more than once during 2020-2021 due to the pandemic and related social issues) and I'm so happy I was finally able to experience it. The trip was thoughtfully and wonderfully planned out. The coach travel was well-timed (with plenty of stops and even a couple of movies during the longer stretches). Having two nights for each hotel stay allowed the right balance of rest and travel. The itinerary was well-balanced between structured/ guided and free/ personal time and neither ever felt like too much or too little of either. The Tour Director was amazing in every way; extremely good at balancing and accomadating group and individual needs and, along with the Local Specialists provided global and local historical and social perspectives, as well as helpful suggestions for the best use of our free time. The drivers were safe and very helpful, and the coach was always clean and comfortable. Hotels were mostly centrally located, also allowing a better personal experience for those like me who enjoy wandering and enjoying local venues and persons.

was an excellent tour manager and he had a great sense of humor. The driver was amazing as he maneuver the coach in tight spaces. We had the right balance of “on the move” and free time. The cities we visited were unbelievably magnificent. It was the week before Easter. I enjoyed the Easter markets and got the Krtek I was looking for. The local guides were well chosen and augmented the history I had researched before going. Great trip. Would travel with again.

This G Adventures trip was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the experience. It can be quite fast paced but it’s a great way to see and learn about lots of places in Central Europe in short amount of time.

Relaxing hiking and stunning scenery: embark on an incredible cruise along the Danube. From Austria via Hungary to Slovakia, discover breathtaking views and stroll through places earmarked in history such as Aggstein Castle, Devinska Kobyma Nature Reserve or the Fortress of Visegrad.
We had a great time on this trip. The itinerary has a lot of variety -- city/cultural tours plus hiking and rafting in beautiful scenery. Our guide, Csilla, was outstanding -- very patient, upbeat, and calm. She also gave us so much information on the history of the three countries. The wine tasting experience was terrific because we got to interact with old-time, traditional wine makers from the countryside. We've experienced posh wine-tastings at art galleries and hotels in the past, and although they weren't horrible experiences, they felt much more pretentious and much less authentic. Having read some of the previous reviews that were less positive, our comments are: 1) if you want luxury travel, don't book this trip -- when you order a glass of house wine, it will be just that, and no more. It's fine to be a wine snob or a coffee snob or a hotel snob, but don't book a relatively low-priced tour and then be disappointed when you aren't given luxury treatment. Some of the hotel rooms are small and won't accommodate a queen size bed, so there will be two twins. If going for a week without a queen bed is the end of the world for you, find a luxury tour company and pay the additional cost to travel that way. Also, with respect to the hike, the description in the itinerary was totally fine and a reasonable assessment of the difficulty. It would be advisable to have appropriate shoes -- we wore hiking boots and were fine. But any time there is a hike on the itinerary, you should plan ahead and have a fitness routine at home (before departure) to prepare adequately. It is unreasonable to book this trip when you cannot even do the city walks.

We warmly invite you to come and enjoy the unique world of Hungarian folklore and dance as well as great views of the capital city of Budapest at night.
While enjoying a boat trip aboard one of our unique catamaran boats on the Danube, you can delight in the wonderful sights of the beautifully illuminated city. This 3 hour river cruise is a good way to see many historical and cultural monuments of Budapest on the banks of the Danube, some of which are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Sightseeing experience aside, the main part of this tour is a delicious Hungarian dinner for our guests. We pay special attention to the presence of traditional Hungarian taste in our menus.
We have also specifically planned a uniquely Hungarian experience for you with our ''Folklore and Dance Show'' which displays Hungarian customs, traditions and history through storytelling and dance.
Enjoy this unique evening in Budapest with us.
