You might want to take a public bus from the Castle District to Gellért Hill, where the legend of Bishop Gellért still lives. The top of Gellért Hill offers a spectacular panorama of the city. While heading down the hill, you will encounter the Art Nouveau architecture of the Gellért baths. Do not miss out on the Great Market Hall, the largest indoor market in the city.

If you can, take an extra day at each end of the trip. Everyone in my group loved both Prague and Budapest! Could’ve spent a week in each city on this trip, but we saw the highlights and had a variety of experiences that made it definitely worthwhile.
