This private, two-day guided tour of Xian from Beijing will take you to some of the most famous sights of China, including the Terracotta Warriors and the City Wall of Xian. Board a bullet train to Xian from Beijing on the first day of the tour (bullet train tickets are included in the tour price) and see the highlights of the city. The second day of the tour involves a trip to the City Wall of Xian as well as Jingdi’s Tomb. Hop on the bullet train back to Beijing in the evening. Your driver will transfer you to your accommodation in the city.
Walking on the Great Wall far exceeded my expectations. The photos in magazines do not compare to the magnitude of actually seeing the Wall in person as it extends for hundreds of miles in many directions spanning numerous ridges. It is an engineering marvel. My guide, Olly was outstanding. His knowledge, sense of humor and overall company contributed to my excellent experience on this trip.
